Vocabulary Workshop: Enriched Edition: Student Edition: Level D (Grade 9)

This is a great series. I use it with advanced ESL students, and now I'm using it with my 13-year-old to start PSAT prep. There are enough exercises that if you complete them all, you will know the vocabulary pretty well.

I like that my kid's school uses these. I think that learning the words in here help students in their journey to master the English language. However, my kid's school only provides copies that they must return at the end of the year, and they aren't allowed to write in them. I find it worth the money to purchase a copy that he can write in and engage with more directly. Pro tip! ...Be sure to double check that you are purchasing the exact same edition!

only a bit overpriced

I'm using this book as a tutor for an eighth grader. I have seen people complain about the lack of answer key. I don't need an answer key because I studied a lot harder words for the SAT and went to college. I can answer each question in about 5 seconds.These are moderately challenging words for an eighth grader.If you are homeschooling your child and need an answer key to these easy vocab lessons, you probably shouldn't be homeschooling your child.
