Ordered this item to replace the long probes on a collar. It was easy to screw into pet safe stubborn dog collar and is much more comfortable on our Australian shepherd than the long stationary probes. It has a spring action and has worked great. He has not had any redness or damage from these probes. They allow the collar to fit better with no issues. Very satisfied with our purchase.

I like that the prongs are retractable. I have a golden retriever with very long hair. These provide the necessary length but allow movement for greater comfort. Good addition to our system.

Work as well as rigid probes but allow collar to be more snug. Put a drop of loktite on the threads as they will work loose and fall off over time.

My original one is three years old no issues awesome. This new one which also charges with a USB cord is junk. Within weeks won't hold charge, not as bright as old one. Will stay bright for about a minute then goes dim. What a waste of money, buy something else.
