GOOD STUFF !!!
I compared a lot of scan tools before deciding to purchase the ThinkTool PD8. It has more functionality than a lot of the other scan tools I was considering. I like the fact it comes with a lot of connectors included. Another nice feature is the VCI (vehicle communication interface) is stored in the side of the scan tool case. The large screen is a plus too. I also like that the operating system is Android based, which I believe will have ongoing support as upgrades are released. I had another brand of scan tool a few years ago which used a Windows based operating system which worked fine until Microsoft no longer supported it. (WIN 7). I've only used it on one vehicle so far, but I was impressed with the ease of use. From deep diagnostic reports to clearing faults in various modules to coding special hidden options and a steering wheel change. It very suitable for me, as I like, I've used it to help friends diagnose engine lights and code modules and they are work well so far. You can pay a lot more for other scan tools, but for my needs this one has the most bang for the money.

Does everything you need it to do
The scan tool so far has done everything I've asked for. I connected to a 2008 BMW X5 for ABC fluid change and operated "rodeo mode". It was unable to calibrate the passenger seat SRS, however it told me exactly what was wrong and what part needs to be replaced. So far The TPMS on the home page asks for an attachment that is not included, however you can still access TPMS under the RESET tab. I like being able to activate things like cooling fan relays and the A/C compressor relay from the device. I like being able to disable individual injectors. I like being able to hook this up to the vehicle, start graphing PIDS, drive around and log the results and view them later. It is a bit expensive for most home users unless you really need it.It seems to be comparable to pro tools I've tested and those are more expensive.
