Fernweh Paperback – December 30, 2015

I purchased this book after stumbling across a FB post by the author that struck a chord with me. I found his post to be so well expressed that I just had to read his fiction. I was not disappointed. The book is wonderfully weird, in that it describes characters and situations that are not generic, run-of-the-mill sorts. At the beginning I was a little bit difficult to find the connection, but by the end I found myself wishing the book was longer. I wanted more. But when I stop to think about what else should have or could have been included, I realize that while it is, in fact, fairly short for a novel, it's so well written that it didn't actually NEED anything else. Lovely.
