Highly recommended for heavy use
I moved from the US to Nepal, where the current is highly unstable and frequently surges, dips, or cuts out altogether. This has been a godsend for my sensitive 110V electronics and other gear. It is high powered enough to cover all my needs. It is designed to be hardwired into a house circuit or to have a plug attached for more portable use. It took an electrician 2 minutes to attach it in my house. Something I didn't know when I bought this: motors geared for 60Hz a/c current in the U.S. are not compatible with 50Hz a/c current (everywhere else). They will behave differently and risk blowing out. So far, I haven't had any motors blow, but I've been careful not to overuse appliances with motors for this reason. My professional grade KitchenAid is still going strong, thank goodness, but the hiccupping motor makes me nervous...

I brought the product to the Philippines and happy with result. Very stable and handled all loads without issues. Would have been nice if 110vac outlet in the front panel.
