Totally satisfied: Nine-month review / Warm water info
After what felt like 100 hours of research and review-reading, I finally bought this (0.9 cu ft size) last May during a bathroom/laundry room renovation where we wouldn't have laundry for four months. I can honestly say, I'm completely satisfied with this washer in terms of size, noise, capacity, price, cleaning...everything.1. After nine months of use, I have had zero problems.2. The machine fits perfectly between my sink and toilet, so I can't really weigh in on how easy it is to move, because I never move it.3. I hesitated about getting the smallest one but did anyway because it fit better in my home. BUT, here is the thing I learned about the small capacity drum: Yes, you have to do more loads, but with the smaller drum, the clothes all hit up against the sides all the time vs only sometimes with more clothes in a bigger drum. So everything is getting the maximum "scrub" in the 0.9 cu ft model. As such, I almost always use the RAPID cycle (19 minutes), because that's usually all it takes. So the time for one load in this is equivalent to about 3 loads in a normal washer, and the capacity is not all that different, either.Water temperature:Yes, you can use warm water. This is what really confused me as I was comparison shopping, mostly because it doesn't make sense until you have the washer in front of you. First off, I think they say not to use hot water because although the sides of the drum are stainless steel, the bottom and the lint trap are plastic and so could melt or be damaged by really hot water. So don't use super hot water, but you can safely use warm water, which I've done many times. To use this machine:1. Turn on the sink to the temperature you want to wash your clothes in.2. Turn the water off, but remember what position the handles were in for that temp so you can set it there again after you hook up the line to the washer.3. Hook the line to the washer to the faucet, and turn the handles to the position of the water temp you wanted (if you only want cold, just leave the hot off and turn on the cold all the way). Now you have the temperature you want going into the machine. Press start.4. The machine pulls water in when it needs it and stops pulling it when it doesn't (like during spin), but you don't have to turn the water off until it's all done. That was a part I didn't understand until I got it, like how will the machine know to stop taking water if the faucet is on, but it does.Notes:1. Again, do not use boiling hot water. I did once, and even though nothing happened, there was a plastic smell afterwards which I took as a message from the machine to not do that!2. The water temperature you set will be used for the whole cycle -- washing and rinsing. If you want to wash in warm but rinse in cold, you are going to have to go back to the machine before the rinse cycle and switch the faucet handle positions to just cold. Seems like a lot of work (you'd have to use a timer/set an alarm to alert you because the machine won't tell you hey I'm rinsing now), but if you absolutely need to wash in warm and rinse in cold, it is possible. Also:The spin cycle is really thorough and does a great job. I hang-dry my clothes and they dry way faster than I would have guessed they would. Some example loads:-- two pairs of women's size 8 jeans and some socks/underwear-- 2-3 bath towels and maybe a few wash cloths-- queen-sized fitted sheet OR flat sheet, each with a pillowcase or two thrown in-- 6ish women's size M short-sleeved t-shirts and a handful of socksIt doesn't sound like a lot, but again, these are 19-minute cycles if you use rapid, so your laundry is done before you know it.I love this machine, it's great quality. Very very happy with my purchase.

GAME CHANGER FOR THIS APARTMENT DWELLER
No more sorting, bagging, loading into the trunk to drive, walk or catch a bus to a secondary location ( laundromat, friend’s house ), unload the bags of laundry, sit, wait, wash, dry, then have to re-bag, re-load into trunk, drive, walk, catch a bus back home to AGAIN unload, un-bag, to iron, fold, and/or hang, nd put away.Oh my Goodness!! The freedom of doing your laundry in your own space using your own machines is a TREMENDOUS BLESSING!!I live in a 1BR, 1BA apartment with no hookups. This compact washer fits perfectly in my small kitchen with the drain hose in the kitchen sink.Moving it into place was a bit of a workout but it has wheels on the bottom, In The Back Only and not he front, and inverted handles on the side which made it a little easier. And it doesn’t roll well on my low pile, Berber carpet, so, I found it easier to “walk” it.I stood behind the machine, tilting it back toward me onto it’s wheels, and just kinda walked it into position. It IS a bit noisy but not so much that it bothers me or my neighbors. To me, it’s no more noisy than a full size washer.DO NOT make the mistake I made and simply sit the drain hose inside a bucket because the hose was too short to reach the sink, thinking that A BUCKET🤨 will be enough to hold all the water as it drains at the end of the cycle. DUH!!Fortunately, I ran the suggested Test Run and sat nearby monitoring. I was able to catch the over pour and remedy the situation preventing a flooding problem. For the time being, I have to scoot the washer closer to the sink every time I do a wash, so that the drain hose reaches.Ive, ordered an extension hose to so that I won’t have to much longer.Great washer. Works great. Instructions were easy to follow. In excellent condition.JUST ONE ISSUE: it came without the bottom cover. It was supposed to be packaged in the box along with the machine itself and the hoses but it was not. So, if you tilt it back and look underneath the machine you can see all of it’s guts & parts.I was concerned that this might be an issue but upon Googling it, learned that back in the day ALL washers came without a bottom cover, with their guts exposed.I’ve washed 3 loads, so far, with this not being an issue. No drips, no leaks, nothing.Plus I ordered a drain pan that I have it sitting in that gives me a level of security. One of the best purchases I’ve made, so far. No regrets.
