Adhesive doesn’t work and this is the worst LED lights on the face of the entire multiverse.
DO NOT BUY THIS I PUT 5 STARS SO YOU CAN READ THIS. THE ADHESIVE DOES NOT WORK AT ALL. Please I beg do not waste your money on these they are horrible and the adhesive doesn’t stick. Please buy something else and save the hassle. I read on other reviews that the adhesive doesn’t work but I didn’t believe it.ignore the good reviews. Please do not buy this buy something else. I am genuinely pissed

Great Govee lights
Oops Govee did it again. Great lights I really enjoy them. Lot of adjustments can be made a lot of do-it-yourself stuff can be done to get some great light shows in your own room. Govi could you please come up with some inexpensive diffusers please.

RGBIC or Nothing!
The media could not be loaded. Had to buy three of these to cover my tv room. As you can tell, they are all in sync thanks to the app feature that lets you set it up as a group. Once the lights were on, it was totally worth it. Now I need a strip for the TV and I think I’m all set.The RGBIC makes such a big difference. It has a ton of lightning effects for every mood. Nothing to complain about.

Not Fully Programmable, Be Warned
These are some of the best programmable LED lights on the market. They're bright, they've got a fantastic range of color, they're not too expensive and they stick permanently if you follow the instructions (notably one teen in these reviews did not, and the amount of angst in that review is hilarious, I encourage you to scroll and find it). Before I get to more Pros, I need to address a CRITICAL flaw: They are not fully programmable. This is kind of a weirdo in that it is basically 2 full devices spliced together after manufacture and then run off a single controller that sends mirrored signals to the 2 devices. So when you tell it to play, for example, Meteor, which should send a little meteor like streak of light around the room, it doesn't quite - instead, it sends 2 out the center of the strip towards the 2 ends, symmetrically. All effects occur in this unfortunate way, which for some is irrelevant and for other highly-directional ones, really ruins the effect. You can avoid this by buying 2 separate devices, each ~30ft long, which is the longest individually programmable device Govee makes (a very important detail they mention... nowhere...). It does mean plugging one more thing in.OK Pros:Brightness - a lot of similar devices are hopelessly dim. We use this as the sole light source for a very large room, and it's perfect. We have it set to 30% brightness white most of the time, but we play with the colors now and again. At 100% it's bright enough to do something important like makeup, but too bright for most casual use. Some competitors are not bright enough at even 100%.Color range - a lot of similar devices have a lumpy chaotic color space. There are too many problems to list but the most common is that there's a hard break between white and color. You can have full red, full white, but if you want light red, you're out of luck. Many competitors will also have a really dim portion of the color range, for example blue, with no way to turn up the white part of the LEDs to make up for that. The color range on these Govees is really fantastic, and we bought a few other of their products and they seem to have that same fantastic color range.Easy install - just wipe the area with the included alcohol wipes, attach the double sided tape to the wall. The other side of the tape is already attached to the lights. It was insanely quick. I would just say take your time so your planned shape is well-designed, since this is going to be a permanent path these lights take.Cons:Besides the impossibility of programming it the way you'd hope, there are a couple other programming issues. There are several buttons on all Govee controllers. In their brilliance, they did not make these programmable. In particular, the really obvious thing - making button 1 on/off, button 2 brighten, button 3 dim - is not possible. I have no idea what they were thinking. Instead the first button is on/off but is not well-labeled to say this is the critical button among the 3. The other 2 do silly crap no one asked for. One changes the mode out of the Wifi-programmed one to one of several presets, none of which might be appropriate for your space. The other attempts to turn on a music sync mode which doesn't work. I wish they'd let us set these buttons to something useful instead of quick access to dumb demo mode gimmicks.

Quality and Customization
The media could not be loaded. I decided to use these strips for crown lighting and was impressed at the results. I installed them on the furring strip with the attached 3m tape and hot glued the corners. (I didn’t use the ribbon loop for corners as recommended, but rather made the corners wide so as to not stress the strips). Setting them on the furring strip behind the moulding was enough to diffuse the light so you don’t see the individual diodes.I know Govee says you can’t cut these strips, but you can; as long as you’re mindful of what you’re doing and how these lights work. Make sure you use good connectors and reattach cutoffs back to where you cut them off for the sake of continuity for the lights dynamic modes. Do your research first! But this was my first time ever working with led strips and I had no trouble cutting and installing connectors and extensions without affecting the light’s functionality. I recommend the waterproof connectors from the nighthawk store on here. They’re black and clear and good quality. Make sure to get waterproof connectors for these strips; even if you’re not installing in a wet environment. “Waterproof” designates the dimensions of the connectors. These lights have a water resistant coating and the waterproof connectors allow for that extra clearance for the coating while ensuring a tight fit.The technology and customization abilities within their app is where these lights shine above the competition. Having played with these for weeks now, I’ve only begun to scratch the surface of all that they can do. The app interface is very user friendly, but with so many possibilities for customization; I’m still finding new features and capabilities. My only issue with these was installation given that the light strips themselves are hardwired to the system. I wish that you could disconnect the strips like you can the power supply. Allowing more disconnection points in the wiring between power between inverter/switch and switch/strips would make installation easier. Also offering different lengths of cords for the above would allow the customer to be able to customize their installation and put the on/off switch at the most convenient point. It would also help the customer get a cleaner overall finish without having to hide cords, install new outlets, or have the equipment be an eyesore. These are just a recommendation for Govee’s future designs, but I couldn’t justify it as enough to lower my rating of the product.I have Phillips hue bulbs all over my house and was going to install their version of led strips for my project until I saw the price tag. Govee’s version are a fraction of the cost, without sacrificing quality. I’ve never played with the Phillips led strips, but I really can’t imagine what they could offer that would outperform Govee. Very satisfied with this purchase and you will be too.

Funcionan a través de Bluetooth ,Wi-Fi o ambas
The media could not be loaded.
