Great for brewing. Iodophor vs Star-San vs Bleach in description.
It works. A bottle will last a lifetime. It's different than powdered brewery wash. PBW cleans. Iodophor sanitizes.I shake a splash if Iodophor with a gallon or so of water and shake it. Some people like to apply with a spray bottle. It's main competitor is Star-san. Both are a replacement for bleach. Below is a comparison.Iodophor:- Price is a lot higher than it used to be. Still cheaper than Star-San.- Odor can put people off. Weak and not noticeable once diluted. Plus it isn't a bad smell- can stain plastics. Again, it will likely be brewing stuff anyways and the staining is hardly noticeable if the correct proportions are used. Plus all the more reason to move to glass!- cannot be stored long term exposed to air. But it can be stored in this container. Plus it's cheap enough to just dump the solution after use.- can stain clothes- If you use it in a bucket, it will tell you where you need to clean. Iodine changes sugars to a bluish color. You can quickly see where you need to wipe your bucket with a soft rag to remove the crud.Star-San:- can leave a slimy residue in bottles- foams a decent amount. This can help coat stuff but is also a bit annoying.- more expensive (works out to like 30 cents/ batch)- I believe it sanitizes quicker- acid based. So soft metals should be avoided. I avoid using it in my kegs. A lot of people use it in kegs.Bleach:- stains- must rinse- can not be used on stainless kegs- leftover bleach can cause the formation of chlorophenol--the wet Band-Aid flavorAt the end of the day I prefer Iodophor for brewing. It's a good industrial grade sanitizer.

Easy, Effective, and Convenient
Not much to say here. This is a straight forward product. Dilute with water, spray down your equipment, and in just a few minutes it's sanitized!! BOOM. No rinsing required! We use this in our fermentation chambers, our crock pots, our meat grinders. We use this on our cheese making supplies, stills when making wine, and all kinds of other stuff. Does not foam. I do want to add that whatever solution you prepare, it has to be used within 24 hours. With that in mind I generally don't make more than I need at any given time!!

Works great. I don't think I will buy this again ...
Works great. I don't think I will buy this again though because the bottle can really stain when trying to pour it with a full bottle. My counter now has a stain that looks like a coffee stain. All in all, works well for home brewing.

No Suds - Much Preferred!
I much prefer Iodine sanitizer vs the sudsy alternatives that feel a bit "slick" and make it difficult to fill buckets/carboys to the top with water. This brand works as advertised, saves a few bucks vs my local home brew supply store, and comes to my door. The only downside to iodine based sanitizer vs the sudsy stuff is that it can leave a bit of stain on buckets and my utility sink (which I use for sterilizing bottles). However, if you use a little bleach water immediately after, it cleans up well.

home brewers must have this sanitizer
I use this every time before i brew a batch of beer. too much time and money invested in my 7.5 gallon batches to take a chance on contamination. A little BTF32 goes a long way and I have never had a failed batch due to contamination since I started using it. Everything gets soaked in BTF32 , utensils, cook pot, siphon hoses, fermentor, keg etc. then a quick rinse and I have no worries. great stuff! home brewers gotta use it.

Iodophor sanitizer
I purchased this to keep my 4 house rabbits kennel clean. It is super concentrated and I love that I don't have to rinse it off after use and it is safe for my pets. I have several pets and so my kitchen sink gets used for all kinds of things. I like to spray it down with the iodophor for great sanitizing and a food grade cleaner.
