LEGO Monster Fighters 9464 The Vampyre Hearse

This set may not be the most value per piece, but as a long time lego fan (over 12 years of playing with legos) I am very pleased with this set.It was easy to build and the hearse looks awesome. The huge engine and forward leaning stance give it a natural air of speed. The vampyre figurine and the roof sticker glow in the dark as well.The real benefit here, for me at least, is that this set has a few hard to find pieces that allow for more complex designs when you finally tear this apart and decide to build something new with the pieces.

Halloween is my favorite holiday and this makes me feel like it is Halloween even though it is July I love this Lego set

Purchased this fir my grandson as he is really into Legos. Have not yet given this to him as he already has 3 of the 7 sets and this one is for Christmas. Will be going in halves with parents for the remaining 3 (and by the way the most expensive). He does play for hours with Legos and I think he has as much fun putting together and taking apart as he does with the actual playtime. He is 6 and very responsible as far as not losing parts and putting away in plastic tubes with lids when he is taking apart and putting away the pieces. Plays for hours. He has several other sets of Lego as really enjoys playing with them.Came well packaged and on time

THIS HEARSE IS A VERY BIG CAR FOR A LEGO TOY 8 INCHES IN LENGTH,ABOUT 3 INCHES IN WIDTH AND ABOUT 3 1/2 INCHES IN HEIGHT,IT DOESNT FALL APART UNDER ROUGH PLAY,LOVE THE WAY THAT BONES AND TEETH WERE USED TO DECORATE THE FRONT OF THE HEARSE AND THE DARK RED TOOTH PLATES USED AS CURTAINS ON THE SIDE WINDOWS.IT HAS A NICE SLEEK GOTHIC SCARY LOOK,GREAT TO ADD TO A HALLOWEEN DISPLAY OR FOR ANY KID/ADULT THAT LOVE MONSTER DESIGN TOYS.THIS VAMPYRE MINI FIGURE DOESNT HAVE A CAPE LIKE THE ONE IN THE CASTLE SET. IF YOU MISS OUT ON THE POLYBAG MONSTER SET OF THE COFFIN CAR, WITH A FEW SPARE LEGO PARTS YOU CAN CONVERT THE COFFIN INTO YOUR OWN CUSTOM CAR. THIS IS MY FOURTH MONSTER FIGHTER SET[SWAMP CREATURE, WOLFMAN,MUMMY] AND THEY ARE ALL NICE SETS.

OK, so I love the monster fighters line. The concept is awesome. When I first saw this thing I was very excited and knew I had to have it.PROS1. The overall design is great. It's like a retro-old school hearse. From the clever use of bones on the engine to the cool curtain like details on the windows it looks cool.2 It compliments the rest of the collection great. What else would Lord Vampire drive!? A hearse of course!3. It goes together very quickly and there are no tedious parts to build that are boring.4. Creative 'action' with the ejecting Lord Vampire (but more on that in the cons.)5. 3 minifigs. Minifigs are always a plus.6. The flames on the monster fighter motorcycle are cool.CONS1. It's a little pricey even at $40.00. If you are paying more than that it's not worth it.2. It's pretty small. I thought it was going to be a lot bigger.3. It's pretty delicate. I don't know how much actual play you are going to get out of this thing without it falling apart.4. The 'Lord Vampire' ejecting action doesn't really work at all. I don't get it. He just kinda flops onto the hood of the car. Plus, you can't put the lid on the coffin if you hope to eject him. Putting the lid on totally defeats the purpose.5. Lord Vampire doesn't come with his cape.6. The vampire hunter 'vehcile' is just a motorcycle with basically no build.7. The wheels are too close together. The wheels should be further apart.All in all, a good set. It looks cool parked in front of the haunted house. Not sure a little kid is going to get much play out of it because it will just keep falling apart. It will def. be a unique addition to any set and will be popular no matter what just 'cause it is so unique.Enjoy and keep building!

My 7 year old son is in love with all of the monster fighter legos, and this Hearse is the final addition to his collection. It was easy to set up and has held up well in the last 30 days with lots of play.

So happy to have found this on Amazon! Our son loved putting this together and I imagine girls would enjoy it too, especially if they like the Monster Fighters sets. The hearse is soooo AWESOME, as you you launch dracula from it! A lot of fun to drive around and play with other LEGO characters.

This item is retired, so get it while you still can! Even if you just let it sit in your closet for a couple years, you'll definitely get a decent return on it. For the little builders, it is unique and quite fun. Unlike legos' other vehicles, such detail and effort went into the design of this car. I especially love the bones that are supposed to be exhaust headers.
