Leisure Time O-02BX Filter Clean, 1-Quart, 2-Pack

I found this to be the best filter cleaning product out there.I have a 15K pool using a Hayward C3030 filter. I wash my filters quarterly along with a Muriatic Acid was of the Salt Water Chlorine Generator. Annually, I'll swap filters with a second set, and acid the old filters for a week or more. Rinse, soak, rinse. I'm on year 7 with the same set of filters.This product produces very clean an bright filters - 20-30% better than some of the other enzymatic or Oxyclean-based cleaners. It costs more and is more hazardous, but produces a better end product.Some notes:1. This is a strong-acid cleaner. The MSDS (material safety data sheets) are available online.2. It is 5-10% each Muriatic/HCl Acid and Sulfuric Acid. It will dissolve/etch concrete. It dissolves proteins and fatty oils - do not get this on your skin or inhale the vapors.3. It is classified as a corrosive hazardous material under US Code 40 CFR 261, and produces waste type D002 that must be disposed of in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations. Because it contains the Sulfuric acid, you probably don't want to add it back to your pool like pure HCl waste (like after cleaning the Salt Water Chlorine Generator). It is corrosive to concrete and metals. It is toxic to organic material and anything living if in sufficient concentration.5. If you don't want to deal with the material handling or the legal disposal of gallons of corrosive waste, the enzyme or Oxy-based cleaners are probably good enough.

Works great cleaning the filters and saves me from having to buy new filters every six months.

I had to dealer recommended we get these and that was an a mistake. These will clean your filters to a bright white.

Removes dirt and scum well

This stuff really cleaned the hot tub filters well. I soaked them for half a day and they went from a cream color to pure white. Just like new.

By far the best product for cleaning filters (and I’ve tried several). Easy too. I let my filter soak overnight and rinse out the next day and allow to dry completely (I keep an extra filter so I always have a clean, dry filter to replace the old one with).
