Gorgeous pen at a good price - delivered as promised.

Pros: no es pesada, fluido el escribir, no sufres fugas, a la vista es atractiva y la cantidad de tinta al escribir el la idónea.Contras: si eres un poco descuidado, como yo, y se te cae la pluma, no soporta ni la primera caída, debo aclarar que la caída fue de una altura corta, medio metro por exagerar, el material deja mucho que desear y la comparación precio-material en mi opinión no es la adecuada ya que pagas más de $200 pesos y sólo soporta una caída, si la vas tener como si fuera una exposición, cómprala, sino, mejor busca una desechable, dura más.

I was never really a fan of small pens beyond super compact, practical pocket pens like the Fisher Space pen, (but certainly not for 'fine writing', whatever that means). I had briefly tried a Metropolitan out before and wrote it off, (I have the option of deleting, so now I guess the pun is intended), because of it's size. Recently, a family member picked one up and had me try it, but this time I gave it more consideration and really ran it around the page to get a feel for it. While I actually purchased this one for a Christmas Gift, (and the recipient was very glad to receive it), I am giving it five stars as well because I was impressed enough with it that I am seriously considering purchasing one for myself. A very good pen for such a cheap price.

Uses Pilot/Namiki IC-50 and IC-100 Cartridges (one cartridge is included). The pen also has a part which is maybe a small converter for use with ink from a bottle. Regarding the colour: it is listed as turquoise, but the green is prevailing. It is not vibrant, but a bit muted, with a metallic tinge to it. It is quite attractive. Writes very smoothly. A good medium nib. Comes in an oval black box with a see-through lid, it makes a very good gift.

This is my first fountain pen, and I couldn’t be happier with it. It writes easily, the flow of ink is consistent, and the medium nib is great for a beginner. Anyone looking for a great fountain pen, without breaking the bank should check out this pen, it is not only a great pen for the price, it is just a fantastic pen!
