This is a really nice quality & powerful shop vac for the money
I’ve now owned this shop vac for over three years and it’s a real workhorse. I mainly use it around the garage and to vacuum out our cars, but it’s powerful enough to clean up larger messes if needed. I only purchase the OEM/name brand replacement bags and they hold quite a lot. In short, I thought this was a really good shop vac for the money, and it’s not made from cheap plastic parts.

Very powerful
I’m using it to clean gutters. Hooked it to a piece of 1-1/4 conduit with a radius 90 and 45 at the end. I can clean my gutters from the ground. No ladders, no mess, hands stay clean. Very efficient!

LOVE THIS VAC
WOW!!! I used this a few days ago and was seriously impressed!! I didn't know or think it was as powerful as it is. I used it to blow dry my motorcycle after washing it. The amount of air and the power of the airflow shocked me. LOVE THIS NEW VAC!! And in stainless steel too, it's a gearhead's best friend in the garage.

The suction is great!
My old Craftsman was leaking and blowing dust all over my shop. I am basically pleased with this vacuum. It has much more suction and it doesn't leak. It is a bit loud. My old Craftsman allowed me to put a plastic bag in as a liner and I could pull it out and dump the whole thing. I tried it on this one and it sucked the bag up around the filter. So no easy dump. The catches pop when you release them and tend to catch your fingers. Basically though it does a great job at what it is supposed to do.

Good shopvac but not sure of the quality over time.
This is a replacement vacuum for my shop. I need something durable and will last a long time. However, the latches that hold on the top to the steel barrel are PLASTIC ! I know for sure these will not last very long. That's why I took off two stars for the quality and lack of durability. Good cord length, suction is excellent if filter is clean. My old hoses fit on this unit which is so nice. The filter is held in place by a plastic/rubber hole that fits over another plastic/ rubber knob. Just wonder how long this will last over time . Everyone knows how rubber gets hard and cracks with time. My last Craftsman shopvac lasted 20 years but I am not sure this one will because of the two listed design flaws.
