This clipper is very good and sharp. I've bought and lost a few nail clippers from a cutlery story that was German made and these clippers are just as sharp. Since this clipper has longer handles, it gives more leverage to clip thick toe nails. Another cool thing about these clippers as there is no specific top or bottom and can be used in either way.

Bought this after having a stroke where dexterity was affected. Much easier to use than style we are all used to having. Only minor complaint is that it opens so wide that it's easy to pinch some skin.

The solid, precision feel of the tools in this kit suggests they will be around for a long time. The clever flip-up spring gives the clippers considerable leverage, even if you are using them at arm’s length. The scissors and pick are also well-sized and intelligently designed for their intended purpose. While I wouldn’t regard them as dangerous, these are not toys. The sharpness, magnified by the leverage, deserves respect. The included glass buffer is a nice touch, but it is no emery board. A carrying/storage case would have been convenient, but mostly for nonprofessional users. I would recommend this set.

These clippers are the best I have ever had. As I get older my “big toe” toe nails have thickened and regular clippers, even those specifically for thick nails, just didn’t cut well. These clippers are very easy to use and cut evenly and easily. I’m very happy with my purchase and just ordered another clipper for my husband.

It feels a bit strange to get excited about nail clippers, but this product is excellent. The clippers open very wide for larger nails and are extremely sharp. Everything operates with precision.
