These boxes are impossible to open. The tops are much too tight for the bottom. I had to use a fork to drag one of the bottoms out. They are all the same. You ruined a christening party I was going to have. It’s too late to order anything else. They looked fine and I had no idea they were this bad. Who would think to try and open the box thinking that it wouldn’t open?

UPDATE 7/18/23:My second order of these boxes weren’t so great as the first, I uploaded photos. On two of the boxes where the edge meets, there wasn’t sufficient glue so it looked like an unfinished box. The photos show where I had to reglue the edges myself. I’m not done yet, I’ve only applied the glue, will wait till it dries and then clean it up. I’ve done that on one box already which I sent out so didn’t take photo of it. At the same time, on the same box, you can see areas that are wrinkled, wavy, like there wasn’t enough glue there or something? Not really sure the cause of that, but I do know it shouldn’t be there on boxes that cost $3/each. Hoping this was a faulty batch or something but either way, I believe the seller needs tighter quality control. It doesn’t take much to quickly look over your work ensuring your product is presentable before marking it as inventory. I even ordered the white colored boxes from same seller, I haven’t gone thru them all yet, but I don’t think I should need to quality control my purchase after receiving it, it should be ready to go, with no faults. Anyways, I buy these about once every 3 weeks so I guess’s I’ll give it another shot, in a couple weeks. Hate to have to look for another vendor for boxes.. Not fun.ORIGINAL REVIEW:Very well made, nice and thick, feels like it’s made of a thin wood material. It’s a bit difficult to open though since the top nearly overlaps the bottom portion, leaving you with a small area to grip when opening it. But if you have something heavy inside it’s much easier to open since the weight of the contents shift and you’ll have a larger area to grab. You definitely get what you paid for, I bought cheaper boxes that were 12 for $18, they had pillows inside for watches but those boxes were horrible, thin, looked like a 4 year old assembled some of them, the receivers likely threw them away afterwards. These however are definitely worth keeping for as long as possible, very high quality.BTW, the pillow you see in the photos are sold separately, as well as the watch, you’ll get just the boxes here. Highly recommend these!
