I bought this gift for my little cousin - he's about 6 years old. He is an animal fan and was excited by the variety of animals in the set.I was impressed by the detail, size and durability of the animals. They are really nicely made.The play mat is a nice addition. We had a little trouble with getting the trees and fences to stand up, so I am giving the product 4 stars. In any case, my cousin's imagination took over and the lions and tigers were roaming and fighting all over the living room furniture. This set is a good value.
