A good Garbage disposal option
Seems to be working well. I appreciate how quiet it is. Its also plenty powerful enough. I wasn't sure how much power or how big of a unit I was going to need, but this once is handling my family of 4 fine. Also pretty small and relatively easy to install.

Best price for a batch-feed with a power plug (not hard-wired), easy to install, works well!
I like this unit a lot. This replaced another manufacturer's "batch feed" model that lasted for 20 years before leaking. Their current batch feed unit when fitted with a power cord rather than hardwired would cost twice as much as this unit. This unit is lighter and a little less bulky; it was easy to twist off the old unit and twist on this new one. I don't know if it will last 20 years like the other one did (one part inside is galvanized steel rather than stainless steel, but other parts are a non-corroding plastic, so maybe it's a wash), but for the price and easy of installation, I prefer this one. It is quite a bit louder than our old unit, but how often does one run a disposal? For me, it's not an issue. NOTE: I did have to plumb my PVC drain pipe a bit differently, using a "J-trap" and a 3 inch extender, which is not ideal, but I would have to do the exact same thing with either unit; the drain outlet is lower on both.

Good product does what it says it will do
Much better than InSinkErator only a couple of months ownership but I can tell you this thing eats everything you throw into it including shrimp shells, onion skins, eggshells, haven't done small bones although it says that it can handle that in the instruction manual. Works very well and is reasonably quiet low vibration. The only thing I do not like about it is it is made in China, the InSinkErator is made in the United States but it's not as good quite honestly. This weighs a lot less and mounts to the exact same amount so you can install directly if you had an InSinkErator and are replacing it.

Replaced Badger 1/3HP
Replaced old Badger 1/3HP. This EX75C installation bracket was not compatible with the existing InSinkerator even though they were similar. I had a very tight space to squeeze into, it's only an inch taller so it fit. Instructions were missing how to place mounting bracket onto unit. However it did include a nice little tool to make snap ring easy to install. The sink flange feels cheap. Does come with power cord already attached. However, the unit is much noisier than the Badger. The splash guard drains very slow, will likely end up cutting it open to improve flow. But, good value overall.

Easy installation and operation
I recently upgraded my kitchen with the Moen GXB75C Host Series Control Activation 3/4 HP Garbage Disposal, and I must say it's been an absolute delight. This garbage disposal unit has exceeded my expectations in every way, making it a fantastic addition to my kitchen. One of the standout features of this disposal is how easy it was to install. The package came with clear and concise directions that guided me through the process step by step. Even for someone like me who isn't particularly handy, the installation was a breeze. Within no time, I had my new disposal up and running, ready to tackle kitchen scraps and waste. The performance of the Moen GXB75C is impressive, particularly its quiet operation. I was initially concerned that the disposal might be noisy and disruptive, but to my delight, it's surprisingly quiet. Now, I can run it without disturbing anyone in the house, even during late-night clean-up sessions. The powerful 3/4 HP motor grinds through food waste effortlessly, leaving my sink clean and odor-free. Moreover, this garbage disposal unit has proven to be incredibly reliable. It handles a wide range of food scraps without any issues, from soft fruit peels to tougher vegetable scraps. I haven't encountered any clogs or jams since installing it, which speaks to its efficiency and performance. As for cons, I honestly couldn't find any. This Moen garbage disposal has performed flawlessly, and I haven't faced a single problem with it. It's reliable, quiet, and does exactly what it's designed to do. In conclusion, I highly recommend the Moen GXB75C Host Series Control Activation 3/4 HP Garbage Disposal to anyone in need of a high-quality disposal unit for their kitchen. The ease of installation, clear directions, and quiet operation make it a top-notch choice. This disposal has made kitchen cleanup a breeze, and I couldn't be happier with its performance. If you want a reliable, efficient, and quiet garbage disposal, look no further than the Moen GXB75C.

Quality and price, fairly easy to install
Great product and the 10 year warranty is really nice. The end steps of the install process are not in the manual but if you have common knowledge of how these are put together you should be fine. It's quieter than my old disposal but not as quiet as I expected. So far its great.

Works like a champ!
It was my very first time replacing a garbage disposal, and it was a bit scary at first since it was all foreign to me. I've owned a couple of homes in the past, and not once have I needed to replace them. I've always believed that in life, there will always be a first time. I watched a couple of DIY videos to make sure I understood the process. That helped a lot! Then I found this brand and model, which had decent reviews, even though the old one I was replacing was a 3/4 HP, I went down to 1/2 HP because it wasn't really that big of a deal to me. Plus the price was just in my range. Just make sure you have all the materials they call for, including the putty. That's important because you need a good seal at the bottom of your sink. The installation wasn't as bad as I thought. I was able to remove the old one and replace it with a new one within an hour. It fit like a glove. The cord was long enough to reach the dedicated plug for it under the sink. Once it was installed, I ran it, and I was expecting my sink to shake, but there was hardly any vibration. So far, it's been a few months, and it's been working like a champ! It has handled what we've been "feeding" it like a champ! This is a solid find!

Absolutely Excellent
I'll start off by saying that given the number of reviews that mention this unit being loud, I'd suggest testing your disposer by plugging it in briefly prior to installation to gauge the sound level (BE CAREFUL)...If it's loud, RETURN IT or have Moen replace it under warranty. With that said, for a 1hp disposer it's supremely quiet!! It's light years quieter than the 1hp Waste King I had at my old house and notably quieter than the leaking builder-grade 1/2hp Badger 5 it replaced. I chose this disposer because it got top marks from consumer reports and I was looking for something quiet. It was also a breeze to install because it was replacing an Insinkerator and the mounting system is universal. Lastly, I agree that the light is gimmicky given that the positioning can't be adjusted. Since the sensor is in the front and the waste outlet is in the back, it doesn't work in my scenario as my outlet had to be positioned to the left, making the light sensor useless. Oh well. We'll see how it holds up but for now I'll say that I'd absolutely buy this disposer again.

Agree with others a bit noisy, but excellent
What amazed me was that I was able to do a simple drop-in replacement of an old Insinkerator 17 (i had researched a bit to make sure the pipes would be about at the same place). Didnt need to do anything other than reuse existing sink flange setup, reconnect dishwasher output and drain pipe. Oh, and plug in the cable. Job done.

Good quality and more quiet than others.
Pros- Much more quiet than the insinkerator brand I had before- which quit after a couple years. This one is 1/2 hp more power. Has a slimmer profile and has a nicer finishing ring in the sink. Sounds and feels like a much higher quality disposal than the ones I’ve had before. Cons- The stopper is cheap feeling. Power cable is about 2ft max so you’ll need to extend if your power is farther away. Instructions aren’t great - might need to consult YouTube if you’ve never put one in before.

Pretty happy with it.
The installation has been simple. The manual only mentions sealing in one place, but really you need to do it on both sides of the flange. I've got it leaking at first, when did as per manual. But when sealed as it should be done the leak was gone. I purchased this model because the description was very specific about hardwired installation option (which my old one was) and it worked out great. I wouldn't call it quite, nor loud either. It's exactly the same loudness as the 10 years+ model I had replaced. I guess I hoped for some advancement over a decade there, but at least hope it would last as long.
