This little lamp is a great size for my relatively small desk space, plus it has some nice features. I especially like the timer function as I usually fall asleep before remembering to turn off the light. The different color temperature settings also help since I prefer a bright white type of light when working while others might prefer a more daylight type of light. And the brightness control is handy especially at night when relaxing. Overall, this is a winner. Oh, and the power cord is great too - it can be plugged into a regular electrical outlet or remove the adaptor and plug the USB into a handy port (the desk it's sitting on happens to have two ports). The one thing I would change is the pen/pencil holder - it would help if there was a divider in the center. Pens and pencils lean a little crazily as it is, and this kind of messes with my neat freak OCD.

the desktop penholder style base is streamlined and doesn't take up a lot of unnecessary space. The controls are easy to reach and easy to use. The color and intensity choices are excellent. My only wish is for another foot or so of gooseneck. Although this one lights up the work area entirely, I'm coming in at an angle near the monitor of the desktop unit. It's just a little distracting. That, however, is my error for ordering the height and neck length I did. Edit on Sep 8 - Note that the on/off button is a PITA. You have to hit it dead center and it is exceedingly sensitive. When the light is on and you can see the target area, it's not bad. However, when the light is off and the touch sensitive control area is not lit up, you can miss the exact button location half a dozen times before you get light.

This LED light allows you to adjust its brightness, frequency, hue/tone, and a traditional ON/OFF button while also allowing you to charge most IOS/Android phones conveniently by having a USB port built in the back but also depending on a traditional outlet works well for most dorm/office spaces and I brag about it as a online college student, all the time. It’s also affordable and works. 👍

This lamp works well, it's brightness and warmth features are great and I like how it fits on my desk and hot it looks. However, on all brightness settings other than the very lowest one, it emits a high-pitch noise that is very irritating, so I only find myself able to use the lowest setting.
