I got this to replace a same-sized plastic item. This one has a glass lens, with a spot for greater magnification. It also is lighted by LEDs which is very handy. Comes with a cleaning cloth and a zippered protective case. Love it! Others have indicated it gets hot when reading the paper, or such, but I don't use it for that.

The lights failed within a week. This is the second one with this problem.

Very good quality, nice optics. This is a great tool. I could not find one locally that was this good. Solid, large and as a bonus, led lights when you need to illuminate an item or page.

The lens was much smaller than 4". Viewing area measured 2.8". Entire head measured 4.5".Saying it is a 4" magnifier is questionable even for a Chinese manufacturer.I have a 4" glass magnifier and 4" plastic lens magnifier and both are much sharper than this small magnifier.The goose neck works great and easily handles the weigh of the head.The clamp worked well too.The lights were pretty good for leds. Bright enough and even lighting.It pulled 1 amp from my USB power supply so would not be good for USB 1 or USB 2 ports.Overall, I give it 2 stars. It worked pretty well for a small plastic lens and I would have kept it for use at the office but,the lens was badly scratched like someone had taken steel wool to it so the lens was cloudy and I returned it.

Use every day ! Great lighting in two strengths around glass ! Great magnification !!

Nice product.... I ordered the wrong size

I have to move this often--it doesn't just sit in one spot, so the screw that holds the arm in place has started coming loose.
