If an iphone is magsafe... why would you need a magsafe case as well?

It’s for contactless/wireless charging many cases in the past I’ve had for my iPhone 8 for example don’t charge as well or as fast this case makes sure it’s a more direct connection from case to phone providing a quicker and sustainable charge

Yes, you can use a lease protector while using the case I have one myself on my phone. if your asking if it protects the sense protector, the answer is it does a little. i have my lease protector crack some times as long as you take your time when placing your phone down on surfaces should be all good.
