Q: Is the chopping board wood treated with any chemicals? It arrived today and smells a bit weird.

It’s bamboo and treated with wood oil and wrapped so I would assume it might smell for awhile. I have two and can’t say that either came with a odour.

Q: It says avoid using natural cooking oils like olive oil etc - should one oil it at some stage, and what should you use.
