Product actually works

This is literally the only thing that works for cold sores! I used to have luck with lysine, but I think my body became immune to it and it stopped having any effect. Last time I ordered this product, I decided to try the pump dispenser and I found that to be a HUGE waste of money. When I ordered that particular item, I was already 2-3 days into my cold sore and it barely lasted for the duration of that ONE cold sore. I made sure to order this kind (the tube) to have an extra one on hand. Well, right after my first one healed, I immediately got a second one (dealing with a compromised immune system, having a terrible cold and being hit with numerous snow storms and freezing temperatures is a recipe for disaster). I'm SO happy I had this on hand! I haven't even used 10% of this tube and my cold sore is almost healed. No matter how hard I tried, I couldn't control the amount of product that came out with the pump dispenser and ended up wasting most of it. With this kind (the tube), I can easily use it for 3-5 cold sores, depending on the severity of them, and I barely got one use out of the pump dispenser. This product is expensive, but it's the only one that's FDA-Approved for cold sores and the only one that actually works (for me and I've tried EVERYTHING - even prescriptions from my doctor).

I think may have reviewed this before but just in case I'll go again. There's no better cold sore medicine I've found than Abreva both for relief and healing speed. My only recommendation is always buy the tube and not the pump dispenser as the pump puts out way more than needed. As good as Abreva is it ain't cheap and it only takes a little for each application a few times a day.

There is no substitute for Abreva.. It is the best product on the market and I often find it at a lower cost on Amazon.

Works great! Wish I had bought it sooner so I would have had it as soon as symptoms appeared.
