Corsair 1GB (1x1GB) DDR2 533 MHz (PC2 4200) Laptop Memory

Thanks to the reviewers for this item in Amazon and I also look up the memory config [...] for my laptop just so I get the right RAM. I purchase 2 of these 1 GB card for my IBM thinkpad T43. It is so easy to install and triple my original RAM config. I can see the improvement in my labtop already. I have window XP Pro and ready for the window 7 coming this fall. I am happy with the purchase and will recommend anyone with an IBM Thinkpad T43 with less than 1 Gb of RAM to get it. There are 2 slots for the memory card, one underneath the keyboard and one can access from the bottom. There is instruction videos in [...] support forum on how to remove and install memory card. The max. ram capacity for the T43 is 2 GB. I am very happy with the purchase.

Bought 2 of these to upgrade an aging Dell (Latitude D610).Got these because it had good reviews and decent price.Easy to install and good packaging (I didn't need a knife to open the plastic up, just pop the plastics).What more can I say about the RAM?I didn't run a full RAM test because I didn't have time, but I didn't get any errors (blue screen of death) on the first boot.Improved the laptop significantly while running Windows 7 Ultimate. Graphics score (windows experience score) was extremely low (1?) because the RAM upgrade doesn't affect the graphics performance (on this machine).Everything else, however, was smooth.Recommended purchase.

This is a great buy if you have a Toshiba M70-340.I put it in and it went like a shot.My Laptop had been slowly gathering dust but with this upgrade, a new 500GB hard drive and a replacement extended life battery,I'll be happy to carry it around with me once more to play a few lighter games at friends houses or exchange photo's, home movies, etc.Great delivery too. I had an older Dell laptop that a friend gave me when his screen quit working. I decide to use it as a media center for my Dumb flat screen TV in the bedroom (thus the laptop screen wasn't needed). I upgraded it to Windows 7 but needed more memory. $20 bucks was a good deal - works fine and made the laptop faster.

I got two of these to upgrade my Dell Inspiron E1505 and it works like a charm. After the easy installation my computer recognized that there was new memory and it went through the diagnostics (very easy to do) and it took between 45 minutes and an hour to make sure everything was working like it was supposed to. Now my computer starts much faster, programs start faster and I can run more programs than before. This is a great buy. Just make sure that this RAM is right for you.

I installed two 1 gig chips of this memory in my old Dell Inspiron, replacing the two 250 meg chips that came with the laptop four years ago. The computer had been getting very slow. Though I had never done this before, the old memory came out and the new memory went in in seconds. I rebooted, and the computer immediately recognized the new RAM. Speed is up dramatically. The only downside is now the hibernation file is four times as big!

Decent piece of hardware, easily installed into the computer. Price appears to have dropped since I purchased, so it's not a bad deal. Computer seems to work a little more seemless with the upgrade. Only time will tell on its manufactured quality, seems reliable hopefully I'm right.

My brother need to upgrade his Ram on his 6 years old laptop he is using with Linux Mint. There is only one option when you re thinking of cheap and reliable RAM to upgrade your old systems, and that is Corsair.There are not many things to say, except the fact that it does its job and it comes from a very reliable RAM manufacturer. Bought this memory as an upgrade for my Toshiba Satellite M70-164 and it works great. Just took the old memory out, snapped the new one in, started the computer and it was promptly identified. The improvement from 1gb to 2gb (I bought two of this) was very noticeable. Online navigation was smoother and I could have more sites running. When I work I usually have to keep 6/7 different sites running: Facebook, Box, an online spell checker, Youtube and another video content site, the site of the band I'm working on and the search engine, plus at least 2 office files and sometimes the audio player. With 1gb it was impossible to keep all this running smoothly. Usually downloads slowed down the whole system, or froze it altogether, even when all of this wasn't running. Haven't had this problem since the upgrade. I have been using it for about a month with no problems. Recently changed OS from Windows to Linux, no problems there either. Recommended.

Having a customer that was too cheap to spring for a worthwhile upgrade for his ancient laptop. This memory was a way to get a bit more out of the laptop with spending an arm and a leg. And being Corsair you can be guaranteed that you are going to get a top quality product.Definitely good value for money. You won't get a better brand name product for less.

my 6 years old laptop really seeded up immediately after clicking it inside. Very easy assembling that Corsair to my laptop, even for me, absolute computer hater:). Had 512MB before, seems not a big difference, but believe me, finally i could work on it. All modern applications seemed too far complicated to being processed by 512MB (my laptop was even blocked when only few Internet pages were open + skype). Recommended
