BALDR Weather Station Indoor Outdoor Thermometer Digital Color LCD Moon Phase Barometric Pressure Temperature Humidity Monitor

This unit replaces a similar unit from manufacturer BALDR that we had for about 4 years. The outside sending unit failed on that one. We were unable to get a replacement ( I think the model was discontinued), so we got this unit as a replacement and we actually like it better. More readable and adjustable display and a bit more information including the barometric pressure trend chart. Also in certain areas it connects periodically to, I believe, a satellite readout that keeps the time very accurate. Anyway it seems to be a good solid unit that's easy to set up. We would buy it again for gift or another location.

The media could not be loaded. This weather station has an easy to read screen for about 10-12 foot distance (for my senior eyesight), and is easily visible from an angle. It was fairly easy to program by following the instructions. It seems to be very accurate, as I compared one that I have had for a while and this one is more accurate. I have the remote sensor located about 150-170 feet from my house and it stays connected. It has a small battery that comes with that restores your settings if the power goes out, which is a nice feature. I feel this weather station provides good value for the money.

This unit provides indoor and outdoor temperature and humidity, and agrees well with other temperature and humidity sensors I have purchased. This unit also has the ability to use the WWV signal to set the time and date, but the receiver is a bit weak and does not always work. You can set the time and date manually and it will attempt to update from WWV several times per day. There is a moon phase display that divides the lunar cycle into 8 segments. Unlike some other weather systems I purchased, this one correctly darkens the portion of the moon that is not sunlit. The only complaint I have is the barometer. This unit reads over 1" Hg below the local weather service station and does not appear to be adjustable. The pressure does change and seems to be a fixed offset from the weather service. I switched it to millibars (since the weather service reports inches of mercury) and just look at the relative changes. A nice unit that can be battery or 5 V powered using the included AC adapter. I am using a USB to barrel connector cable to power it from a USB charger.

We really like the display showing temperatures and humidity both inside and outside. Ii found it a little tricky to set the display, especially time and date, but over all I am very happy with the purchase.

I purchased this for my outdoor sunroom. Was going to leave it propped up (stand) on a wall shelf, but I couldn't see it very well titled, from where I sit at my table. So I mounted it to the wall and now I can enjoy it from my seat. Great colors, wish it was just a tiny bit brighter and some of the smaller numbers were a bit larger. Best one for my purpose. The weather station worked well initially, we purchased extra sensors which were a little tricky to connect to the main unit. After 9 months the LCD lines that form the numbers on the display stopped working. It was no longer possible to read the temperatures. Very disappointing, very poor quality. Would not recommend.

Easy to set up. Besure to read instructions. I watched the video, very helpful. Ended up being very easy to set up. Beautiful display! Very accurate. More so than expected. Easy to see from across room. I have it on corner table, but can hang. Really helps you keep your room comfortable when watching temp and humidity and adjusting your ac/heat accordingly. My electric bill went down too!

This weather station unit functions well as a clock, calendar, moon phase and temperature/humidity. Those features seem accurate and are very readable. The cute weather picture forecaster takes up too much space and is never correct. It typically just shows rain all the time. The barometer feature has never been accurate. As a matter of fact,, I’ve never seen it read above 29.8 mb. It does not read the current pressure, let alone track and graphically show me trending changes. I had hoped for a better forecasting system but in the end, I have a a unit that is basically a indoor/outdoor thermometer with a lot of colorful, unusable graphics.. I would not recommend.
