Ryobi GDA300 Garage Door Outdoor Keypad

We needed a replacement as the old one corroded the batteries and this garage door is no longer manufactured? Glad we got this.

This unit is completely wireless, so you don’t have to worry if you’re wiring it correctly or anything like that. It installs like a regular unit. The instructions on the unit as precise and useful as long as you follow them. The only odd thing about it is that you have the click the “on/program” button before you can punch in the code and the unit will operate the door until the backlight turns off (which I think only stays on for about a minute or so). Otherwise it’s a great unit.

Product arrived as promised. I will agree with a lot of other reviews as far as the outdoor keypad does have a lag or does not work every time you enter your code. This is no fault of seller but just the quality of the product. I’ve noticed even with the Ryobi App or even the indoor keypad you have to reboot the app or even hit the keypad a second time for any response. I believe Ryobi created a wireless product that may have been rushed into production. All in all the outdoor keypad works and came in good condition.

Works well and reasonably easy to set up.
