Bought this when we were expecting our first rescue puppy in May 2017. He is a small to medium size, was 7 pounds when we got him at 3 months. This set has served him very well. When we bought it, it was before the redesigned tray shape and has more rounded corners. I think the new design is probably better, will catch more of the spillage from lapping up water than the shape we have. Also was before the collapsible bowl came with it, did get the scoop. The scoop is very nice, however the quantity that it holds is not marked, which would be very important. Also doesn't have markers inside of it to scoop less, since for dogs/cats this small, small differences in volume make a huge difference in calorie intake. However, the bowls are awesome and have stood up very well to use. I wash them either by hand or in our dishwasher, and are just as shiny and unscratched as the day we got them! I have put the silicone base in the dishwasher, but the rinse aid tends to hang around on it, so ended up hand washing it in the end anyway. We actually ended up getting a second set last year because sometimes we feed him in the kitchen and sometimes in our master suite. We did end up getting a couple larger dishes to have more water on hand since he's now 18 pounds, but we also do still keep some water in the dish in this set as well. Overall, we have been very happy with this product with no complaints!

My dog can easily flip up a third of the mat to spill the food but luckily the spill stays on the mat. Sometimes she’ll spill the water too but again it stays on the mat. So although it’s not as effective as I hoped, it’s certainly an improvement. My dog is a 14 pound Shih Tzu mix.

I recently received a new pet bowl set for my dog. It is well designed and the silicone mat makes clean up nice and easy, no more stray food on the floor. The bowls fit securely on the silicone mat. Not only did I get the set, I also received a food scoop and informative E-Book free of charge. The fact that the mat folds makes the whole set portable for long car rides. My plan is to buy a second set as a holiday gift for my cat, so both pets can eat side by side.

Pros: Does keep bowls secure, keeps food and water off floor if pup eats messy, looks nice, free scoop is a sweet bonus, bowls and mat clean easily. Cons: You cannot pick up the mat without the product bending, so any water that does spill into the matt then ends up spilling everwhere as you carry it to the sink.

These bowls are great. I have a Maltese who makes an unbelievable mess when he eats and pushes his bowl around the kitchen. It's been intense. The bowls stay put in their imbedded mat and the mat catches about 80% of the mess! That's saying a lot in my house. Easy to clean. Really happy with this buy. Also like the generous size of the bowls.

Great food bowl for a Frenchie, it catches all of the food that spills and water drops from your dog as they switch back and forth while eating. It also makes a huge difference that it’s slip proof and doesn’t move while our puppy is eating. The dog food scooper is also another amazing addition, never realized how important a dog food scooper would be until you have a puppy who eats every 5 hours, I LOVE THE DOG FOOD SCOOPER!

Smaller than I thought, food bowl holds 1-1.5 cups. She doesn't knock it over.

Bowls are great. Just the right size for my puppy. It’s nice to have the overhang so when Food and water spills it doesn’t hit the floor. Easy to clean. And the bonus scoop is a plus. I Will by again.
