Moms and Dads.... If... I mean, when you step on one of these, you will curse yourself for buying them. You thought Legos were bad? Just wait until you stumble over one of these in the dark... All that aside (because we parents will pay for anything to occupy the little ones), my boys love these. They never get bored. They're 1.5 yo and 3 yo. I bought jumbo blocks for the little guy but he had a fit and wanted his big brothers bristle blocks. So yes, this is good for the little ones too. Unless they are in that phase where everything goes into their mouths. Because there are a few small pieces, maybe not even that small, and you can always pick them out. I would recommend these, just clean them up or kick them to a corner after playtime or before bedtime. Don't say I didn't warn you.

I purchased these for my 2 year old grandson. Out of all the toys he received that day, this was his favorite. He and his 3 1/2 year old brother were fighting over the blocks.

Cute carry case but difficult for little ones to fit all of the blocks back in. Nice size and variety of blocks with people as well. The people came with safari type hats. Too small for a 2 year old , so got rid of the hats. But the rest is cute. So for a 2 and 4 year old.... 2 year old really can't put blocks together & he is pretty good at most things. 4 year old has built some unique pieces, but they can be flimsy if bristles aren't stuck well. Overall they like them and I like that they aren't hard blocks that if tossed( yup kids do throw stuff ) no one will be hurt. Hopefully they will handle these blocks a bit better as they grow.yes, I would buy them again. They are nicely made.

Came missing a lot of pieces (we have 93). Didn't realize until almost a year later when I decided to actually count them (have counted at least 6 times). I know none have been lost because it's not played with without supervision (gift for toddler), and they're put away immediately after use. It's my bad for not bothering to count them sooner. Other than that I love these things. I think I might even like them better than Legos. Can be so imaginative with them! They are hard for a toddler to use, though. Takes a bit of force to put them together. But I think they'd be fantastic for older kids. I enjoy playing with them. Lol

...if slightly lighter in weight. some of the pieces are odd, like the wheels. To me bristle blocks were something I just felt I needed to buy for my toddler/youngin'. As a child in kindergarten, these were an early introduction to just mashing things together brute force style, which is a fun alternative to blocks, when preschoolers and kindergartners are learning how to use their hands. 4/5 stars since I would have liked maybe a better block choice and some of the pieces just don't seem as durable as I remember them. These blocks should last a long time though.

My daughter loves this set, especially the hats, although it's a shame they don't clip on to the characters heads but still a great set. Love that it comes in a storage box although sometimes it's a bit of a puzzle getting all the pieces to fit back in! Fairly easy to assemble and great colourful building pieces and the family of characters are lovely. Great value for hours of fun!
