Really Good iPad Mini case!
Very nice product. Well designed and constructed, very favorably priced, and fits my iPad Mini very well. Much nicer than the Apple brand case I’d been using. The way it holds the Apple pen is much better, much more reliable.

Best iPad case I've had
I've had several iPads now, each with a slightly different style case and this one is my favorite so far. First, I prefer thin-form cases that aren't bulky. I want my iPad mini to stay as light as possible and as slim and portable as possible. Second, I do like a good stand but not all stands work well. This case uses ingenious "origami" to accomplish different stand angles and orientations without adding chunky plastic legs to the case. There are two ways to fold it, each resulting in 2 different viewing angles when horizontal (only one of the folds works well for vertical orientation but I rarely stand my iPad vertically). Third, the built-in pencil holder is perfect. It doesn't interfere with charging, the pencil stays secure and doesn't fall out, and I like the open groove to hold when I'm also using the pencil - since the entire case is so thin there's not much of an edge to grip, this adds a little extra along one edge. Last, the entire thing is magnetic and will stick to something like a refrigerator. A niche use but I've done it at least once.

Best iPad case around
I've tried different cases for both the mini and 11" iPad (btw mini is so much better) But this case is amazing. I didn't want a full OtterBox but more protection than a standard folio which offers little protection. This case is awesome because a) you can stand your iPad in all different configurations, and b) it's got rubber borders and seems to offer a lot of protection. Also it has a spot for the apple Pencil so I won't lose it. Absolutely buy this.

fine case with some reservations
I'm writing this after several months using the case. I love the design and the fact that it can stand up quite stably in landscape (more than one angle) or portrait mode. It's nice and light and reasonably protective though not 6 foot drop at 20 miles an hour protective. The compartment for the pencil is very well designed. The price is also quite fair (the Zugu was $50). I've had a couple reservations however. They may be more production than actual design issues. In other words, I suspect there's some variance. The two big ones are that the holes and edges were maybe ever so slightly miscut. The edge of the charging port gets in the way. At times, I thought I was charging when the USB C connector actually wasn't all the way in. I have to push a little harder and more carefully to make sure it's right. The second matter is the edging around the screen is just a bit too tight. If you push on the outside of the case (say when you're trying to make sure the USB port is connected), it pulls the corners of the screen protector up which results in dust or bubbles getting between the screen and the screen protector. Finally, the flap over the screen is a little bit on the floppy side, likely a consequence of the origami design that makes the case so versatile in standing mode. This one's not a big deal, but it does impact how protective the case really is: it can fall open screen first even with the flap closed. My guess is that I got one of the ones in the production batch that were just a little off, maybe not defect level off, but annoying level off. It wasn't enough for me to return it, but I now feel like i should have been more insistent about the quality control issues even for a $17 case.

Good case. Good value.
This is a good case. As described and well priced. The fabric feel exterior is easy to grip and keep hold of. The folding design is easy to use and stable in either horizontal or vertical positions. These are the things that should ultimately matter in a device case, imnsho. I had purchased a different case from another brand that failed on both of those counts.

So Happy with This Purchase
This is a good quality case. Very grippy. Can be set up portrait mode or landscape mode. Case fits perfectly and looks great. Scratch resistance and no fingerprints.

FINALLY! The case I’ve been looking for with vertical AND horizontal stand capable!
I have purchased more cases for each device I own in my quest for the “perfect” case. How hard can it be to find a case that will stand Vertically for when I read books or scroll sites, AND Horizontally when I watch videos. And I like the portfolio style cover so I can protect the screen as well as just close the cover to sleep. The answer: VERY HARD. Many hard cases have some type of plastic swivel and no screen cover (I do not like the plastic window style. Even when asleep, messages and things will pop up and others can see the screen ). They are heavier and thicker than I like. Other 360 swivel portfolios only hold the iPad by the corners, and the swivel back makes the case thicker. THIS is the WINNER!!!! It’s slim, as only the back and cover. And the cover becomes the Origami stand for both portrait and landscape in varying angles. The back is magnetic so you can stick it to a metal wall or fridge if you want and read or watch videos when in the kitchen or wherever. The iPad is held in on all sides, not just corners. Nice and cozy and secure. Now, As I do not use a pen/pencil, I was annoyed this did not come in a version without the added space to hold one. I did ask the vendor, and they said there is one, but referred me to the case without the origami-like stand. The reason I wanted it. I wanted a case as small as my mini. Alas, I ordered it anyway (and I ordered a cheap pen since I would now have a space for one.) Well, let me just say I LOVE IT ANYWAY! The added pen space is not even noticeable. And it gives me a little extra thumb space when holding it so I’m not touching the screen. The pen is cool and I may find a use for it. But for not, my thumb likes it.

Origami covers stand up on tabletops in either landscape or portrait aspect.
Love the origami covers! This is my 4th DTTO iPad cover, my first for a mini iPad. It fits perfectly! Yi was easy to install and it sturdy.

This case has a really nice finish and a textured surface that gives it a touch of class. It held up perfectly during a long trip to Mexico, including beach and airport use, and still looks brand new. The texture also cleverly hides dirt. A bonus is the channel designed for an Apple Pencil, which doubles as a comfortable grip for right-handed users. Pros: ☺ Textured heathered finish which hides dirt and grime ☺ Versatility. Stand can be utilized both vertical and horizontal orientation Cons: ☹ None that I have noticed. Overall: Awesome case... Highly Recommended

Only folds one way. Keeps your iPad & pencil safe

3 stars because the cover is not magnetic and does not hold magnetically on the screen. It lies loosly on the screen and can easily open when placed in a bag. Some similar covers of other manufacturers have at least a rubber to put round but this does not. There are however magnets but they are just for the folding stand. Secondly, the fitting was so tight that it interfered with my display protection which was pushed up and has now become useless and it was not exactly cheap.I had similar cases for my Xiaomi tab 6s pro as well as my kobo reader and they did not have this problem. I therefore have no choice but to return this case.
