Voyager Step-in Air Dog Vest Harness - Black/Black Trim, Small

This harness is exactly what I was looking for. I really needed something that was very simple that my 10yr old could easily get on the puppy if needed, or anyone else when im not home and this is so simple with just a Velcro closure & 1 buckle! It's very easy to tell which way it goes in and I can say from experience it's simple enough to get on a squirming puppy! No over the head, under the belly, around these legs only to figure out it's on backwards etc! Super easy! It's really soft, not bulky, and seems breathable enough for summer! I absolutely love the baby blue color with black trim, the little reflective stripes on the upper chest are nice touch. I like that the only buckle is on the back on top of the Velcro so he is not lying on a buckle and there's no pinching him when buckling him up! The double D-rings make it nice & secure on top of the 2 closures! So I have a mini-schnauzer mixed breed 6 month rescue puppy who is just about 15lbs but very stocky...he measures about 18.5in at the widest point of his chest, just behind his front legs & the VERY bottom of his neck/top of chest (below where a collar would sit) measures about 15in...since he was over 18in I first got the large, which is slightly big on him to where I had to really try to overlap the Velcro as far as I could and he has room to grow, which I thought would be good; however, because he is so young (& very new to our family we are still working on leash commands so when he is in stubborn puppy mode, trying to back out, it almost gave me a heart-attack because I could see it very easily starting to slip over his neck! So I ordered the medium and it fits JUST PERFECT. It is definitely SNUG but for safety it HAS TO BE! It is stretchy/comfy enough that I can fit 2 fingers around all edges so it's not TOO tight to be uncomfortable but there is VERY LITTLE room to grow. So unfortunately he is a pup who will probably end up going up a size but chancing it with a too-loose harness is not worth it to me so i will keep him in the medium, hang on to the large for couple weeks and if he doesn't grow out of the medium within the allowed return period ill just send the large back for a refund (and possibly order the larger size at a later date) but I don't know how much more he will grow and how quickly since he is a smaller breed. With Amazon's convenient returns and the price of this harness it's fine, I'd rather be safe than sorry! So use your best judgement with measuring, if u have a dog that is a safety concern, room to grow is NOT the best option but if u have a mellow dog that follows commands already 100% a little room may be ok for u! But in general, u want it snug, so I will say the measurements for sizing recommendations they provide are accurate! Only thing I will say is I do wish the buckle laid more flat on the back but it's a small "negative" in the scheme of the overall product. It is great quality and excellent price. For anyone complaining about how small they are for their larger dogs: it specifically says for toy/small breed dogs ONLY so that is not a valid complaint. The XL would b for the largest of small breeds or super small medium breeds possibly but that's it. So make sure u measure!

Buying a harness for a small dog sounds like an easy task, but if you’ve tried to find one that actually fits, you know it’s not an easy thing to do. Most of the ones I’ve found have been either too large, or made from something that will not conform to my dog’s body without having large gaps or be too tight. I’d almost given up trying to find one that fit my dog comfortably and wasn’t something with multiple strap and buckles that I could never unjust correctly. When I found this harness, specifically designed for a small dog, without all of the straps and buckles, and had a step in construction without multiple straps, I decided to give it a try. The first time I put it on my miniature schnauzer, it was a perfect fit. The Velcro closure made it easy to get just the right fit, and the one buckle keeps it a very secured. Attach your leash to the double d-rings and you’re ready to go. Removing the harness takes only seconds. Unhook your leash, unsnap the secure buckle and pull the Velcro material apart and your dog is out of the harness. I like this particular harness so much, I’ve bought two of them, and they are so reasonably priced, I might get another. It’s the perfect harness for your small dog, and I has my recommendation

Have 2 indoor cats, male and female. I don't believe a good pet owner should let their cat(s) run free outside, too many dangers (other cats may fight with them, exposure to disease/poisons/toxins, predators, getting hit by vehicle, getting injured in other ways) but my kitties really want to go outside a explore. What cat doesn't? I had a strap like harness I used with my past cat but it was hard to put on and take off, and if they struggled enough they could get out of it. I wanted a vest type harness and thsi had great reviews. It is easy to put on and take off. The first few times was more of a challenge as neither liked it at first. They just would lay on the ground and not move much. But after about the 3rd time my male started to walk around and he now asks to go out every day. My female still hates the harness. She wants to go out but after the initial time she wore it she now runs way and hides when I get hers out. All in all it's a great harness, easy to put on and take off, very secure with both velcro and plastic clip securing it on the shoulder/back area. Then 2 D rings over clip to attach the leash. There is absolutely no way the vest will come loose or cat wiggle their way out. The other day my cat got spooked and tried to run and wiggle his way out to get free but he remained securely in vest. Great product! Couldn't be happier. Be sure to measure your cats chest as I discovered mine needed the smallest size dog vest. The 2 labeled to fit a cat would be too small.

Although pulling has not been an issue with any of my numerous rescues and take-ins, I have always preferred a harness over a collar. The old type harness no longer available, I thought I’d try this vest type (purchasing 5, 1each XS to XL for fit on my 12 various shape and size dogs) for one particular reason ... no strap nor clip pressuring or rubbing anywhere on the body nor interfering with leg movement. One big plus is this vest Velcros and clips together on the back between shoulders; there are two rings, one on either side of clip, once leash is attached to both rings should both the Velcro closure and clip come apart the vest will remain in proper place on pet. Second, it does not fit against the throat; there is no pressure to choke or injure put on the throat or neck. Fabric has a slight stretch and is somewhat breathable and lightweight. They do run a little small and if between sizes, going up to next size (I found) allowed for just enough wiggle room to get a leg out. I have a small 17 lb. (her midrange target weight) Pug; she required a size Large. The drawback ... these vests are not adjustable to fit another pet larger or smaller. Also, they do not come in the size XXL I need for my three larger dogs (a smaller Am. Bulldog/Pitbull, an Am. Hairless Terrier, an Am. English Coonhound). I’ve just recently received these vests and the only use they will get is when going to the Vet. or when on a trip. The one exception being, Misty, my goat kid who likes to go shopping at our Farmers Coop and Atwoods and wears her vest and leash. As I can not yet comment on the durability nor longevity of these vests I rated them 4 Stars but, thus far, I am pleased with them.

I have it for a week. Will update later again. First of all, however wonderful product there are few tings to consider to make sure it is the right one for your dog so please read on. This leash is for SMALL BREEDS or SMALL SIZE dogs. MY XL fits a 25lbs dog and there is very little room to spare, just perfect fit with tinny bit air in the right places. So far and straight from the box pros: * It is beautiful * It is very well built * It is high quality good expensive materials * Very well balanced, not heavy, not super light but it is on a light side so the animal does not carry any added weight. * It is slightly padded, not beefy but not flat. It is just prefect. * It is very well build with things in all right places for the dog to wear with ease and owner to put on and click * It is very easy to put on and take off * It is three step on: you put the paws trough, you click the buckle, you snap on your leash, good to go the whole process takes less then 10 seconds. * All you need to put through is the paws unlike most that require you to put paws and the head through making it more complicated on energetic dogs or small dogs who lack yet a routine and discipline. * It looks very elegant by not covering too much of a dog, laving the beauty of animal to adore but has just enough to add to the whole dress up look without making and animal hot or uncomfortable. * It is a head turner. The first week of ownership I have been asked more then 10 times where did I get it. * Paired with your jacket color matchy matchy.. and the matching leash makes the whole get up adohable and dolled up. * The leash is connected on the top and stays on the top, never slides to the side or makes the dog step on it. * The connecting system is very easy to click and the leash connector is simple two metal loops that you just bring together to hook the leash on it, could not be easier or simpler or weight less. Important not to add weight on the dog. * Front has a nice little padding as well so the chest is protected from hurt by pulling on lish. * Dog is so super excited to use it that he is putting his paws and head at random trying to get it on fast.. with little practice we will make it easier but the excitement of the guy is through the roof, this must be very comfortable on him. He never exhibited any such behavior with the old one that he clearly was not comfortable wearing but never could communicate. Love it so far and I will update with time. Things to consider: ^ if you live in hot climate, I would probably not buy this one but thin mesh because this can be too hot. It is perfect for cold and moderate climate but even there I would get different one for summer hot days. ^ If you have a dog with thick rich fur it would be fine for winter and fall or early spring but I would stay away for summer hot months, might be too hot for them. ^ If you have a dog that has thick fur I would considering upsize it to have room for air not to be snug on the fur as this can lead to some skin issues and rash if is too snug as the animal will get overheated and can get rash.

My fur baby loves this harness. It's comfortable and secure when we are out on walks. The lease attaches easily and with the velcro, it allows you to adjust it to your pets needs.

This is a good product. Make sure you take the measurements as recommended. We have a small 15 # dog. It showed he required a large. I was skeptical. It work and fit perfectly.

This is well-made, I was really impressed by it and my cat seemed comfortable in it. However we were outside and there was a loud noise and she instantly slipped out of it. For the record, her chest is 13 inches, and this XS was supposed to fit. I would say to be on the safe side, size down if they're right on the border between sizes. Like I said, I think it's a great product but their sizing is off.

What do you buy a dog that has everything…?? Well , this stylish sports bra / harness for dogs. It looks like a sports bra so, your dog is always looking gym ready. Give it a towel and water bottle and voila he’s sorted. But it doubles as a harness. The harnesss aspect was why I got it. I was worried tethering my K9 royalty to a dog collar could cause neck problems and also trachea issues. So I ordered this in royal black … shows no mess and you wash it when it looks dirty, ie, never. Bonus is it looks like a sports bra. It’s light and very easy for the dog to get into and out of, no drama llama. Would I buy again? Sure. It’s a great item and lightweight. So in the summer the Royal pooch doesn’t overheat and sit there heavy breathing over a water bowl. Panting like it’s run a marathon to front door. Super comfortable and the pooch loves it !!! Recommended A+

This wasn’t sized correctly. I’d ordered the S as I’d had other Voyager harnesses the small size. It arrived, is pretty but doesn’t go around her despite being labelled S. I believe it’s a XS. Amazon issued a refund but it’s a shame and a waste as I don’t know anyone with a chihuahua.

Es una buena pechera en relación precio/calidad. compre la pechera tamaño "Large" para mi perro que sus medidas son pecho 20.5" y largo 17.5" y le quedo perfectamente basándome en su tabla de medidas, es de un material de malla acolchado, transpirable y resistente. Tengo un mes de usarlo y no ha tenido ningún detalle. Lo recomiendo ampliamente.

This dog harness was an item that had been used and returned. I have cleaned and kept item because it was needed urgently. But please be aware that I am not happy. A compensation would be grateful.
