There are so many different roof bags to choose from and this one seemed like a good value.It holds a huge amount of baggage and was weatherproof as advertised. The straps are heavy duty and easy to use they even have little Velcro tabs so the loose ends don’t flap in the wind. The zipper is super duty and has to be aligned but works well and the flap over the zipper seals the deal. I don’t write allot of reviews but this roof bag is 5 star worthy!

Fit my 2022 Kona perfectly. We drove 800 miles through snow, sleet and rain. Everything stayed nice and dry, no leaks. Heavy duty material and straps. Glad it came with a lock. I only had 2 issues. The pad for under it was too small for my car. The other issue may be my fault because I kept tightening the straps too tight. They left little scratch marks over my front doors. I will know next trip to put something under the straps. All in all, it was well worth what I paid for it.

When I saw this for half price, I couldn't resist as I have long trip coming up and needed some extra room in my small car. For an 'on sale' price of $39 this was an absolute steal. The material is heavy duty water resistant and thick. However after reading some of the negative reviews about the zipper breaking off I was especially careful with it, and I can see why some people had a problem with it. The zipper line goes around three sides of the bag, clam shelled at the front. The problem is the two back corners are very rigid and hard to negotiate with the zippers; I suspect this was the point where the breakage occured. I decided to close the bag and gently maneuvered both zipper pulls to only one side of the bag. That way, they will never have to go around those corners again as I intend to only slip items in or out from the opening of one side. Another thing is the tiny lock that comes with it. It is worthless. Flimsy as a description would be kind. Even the zipper eyelets where it connects to is so thin that a twist of the lock would probably snap the eyelets rendering such a security device as hopelessly lame. I'm not too keen on the green stripe color (wish is was ll black). But again, for the price I paid, I'm very happy with it.

I've had this for 7 months now, and I've used it to move gear from Kentucky to Colorado (a 16 hour straight drive) and back and forth from Kentucky to Georgia a few times. It holds steady and doesn't shift at all on top on my 4Runner, it's been rained on for hours a couple times and nothing has gotten wet inside.

This took the hubs a few to get it attached to the top of my Subaru, but works great!!!!We were traveling with our huge Siberian Husky and wanted to give him space ( 92 lbs) so he had the entire back. The bag was large enough for beach chairs (2), large suit case, makeup case, umbrella with room to spare.Easy to get to and open ( my hubs is 6’3) so that helps bc I’m height challenged!We came back home and through some pretty serious storms, lightning, thunder and excessive downpours! Dog was not thrilled and not easy to drive in, but the bag was bone dry! I thought surely some water made it in or even in the humid GA - Fl temps condensation but ZERO! All our stuff was dry and safe! I bought on a lighting deal for a great price and so happy I did! Great purchase for some much needed space!

Following the instructions I loaded my carrier bag. When I had finished most of what I intended to carry there I went to zip it up, noticing the back left corner had a 12 inch rip at the seem. Being my week long vacation is tomorrow, I'm in a position where I have to try and make this work. I super glued and duct taped the seperates section, then went to zip up the bag. Immediately after I started, maybe 1.5 feet in, the same seam ripped about 13 inches. What's crazy is this isn't even loaded to the capacity that is clearly show in the picture. Of course, same dilemma, I've super glued and duct taped the seem. Unfortunately the bag is melted together at the seems. Not sewn or anything of that sort. We will see how it holds up on my 12 trip tomorrow and 12 hour trip back in a week. Fingers crossed it somehow holds together and I don't have to make the choice to leave behind my belongings. Really infuriated with this whole experience after reading such promising reviews. I strongly recommend avoiding this product.

The material and space in this bag are great and it was easy to tie down to our van. However, we made two long trips with it, both times getting rained on and the bag leaking. The customer service was quick to respond though which was nice.

I travel to visit family quite often. I bought this because I have limited space in my small suv. It was a great investment for sure. I've driven with it several times about 1500 miles and it has not torn!! I also went through a heavy rainstorm and did not get anything wet inside. It is very good material and love the shape which I'm sure helps when driving. I don't have the racks on my roof so I used the door hooks. I was worried about it damaging my doors but it didn't. There was no damage at all. I honestly love this cargo bag!!!
