I have stopped buying bar soap as it’s such a mess to deal with, but I received a soap bar recently as a gift, and wanted to use it. This wooden slatted soap dish is the perfect answer. It looks great, and I can leave it on the side of my tub without it looking bad. It actually adds a nice element to the bathroom, adding to the spa-like atmosphere. Highly recommend.

I bought these specifically for a house I’m renting and they serve their purpose well. At this price point for a set of two, I wasn't expecting heirloom quality, and they are definitely a 'value' item. They look nice in the shower and keep the soap off the ledge.The material is VERY lightweight and feels a bit on the flimsy side. I’m not entirely sure how they will hold up against constant moisture over the long term, but for a quick, affordable solution that looks decent, they do the job. If you want something heavy-duty that will last for years, you might want to invest in a higher-quality wood or ceramic option.

Many soap dishes collect water, turning a bar of soap to mush, but this one is made of wood with slats that let the soap bar stay dry. Initially, some of the wood stain comes off on the bar, but after that it was fine.

UPDATE: The company contacted me and made it right by offering a full refund for the trouble. That goes a long way with me. Good customer service! INITIAL REVIEW: I have had the item for 10 days and it is already falling apart. One of the set came with loose parts so I did a slight repair as that was easier than the hassle of a return. I was recovering from a surgery and it was too much to deal with. Now, the second one is falling apart. I will end up throwing away, but first I wanted to let others know that this product is defective and a true waste of time and money. Does not keep soap dry, the soap sticks to it therefore making cleaning difficult. The color is nice and it is lightweight, but that does not count for much with the poor construction.

Looks exactly like the picture. Is lightweight and sits flat and balanced. However the stain used on the wood to produce the dark colour leaks off. This colours the soap and the surface it is sitting on.

Impressed with speed of response to issues and offered 60% refund.Used the last dish and the wooden finish continuously comes off on the soap.No one want to wash themselves in dark brown wood finish.Good customer service is the only thing that got this product more than one star.Flimsy design, poor shipping, and finish comes off on soap.*do not recommend *
