One of the better heat sinks. I am really unfamiliar with internal components of PCs or any other technology like my PS5. But! This design seems to be the best heatsink simply because of the material it is made out of. It completely replaces the SSD cover it comes with, and then it covered all of the empty space inside of the compartment. The heat sink foam is good and simply used an adhesive to stay in place. I am convinced that the way this is designed, my SSD will be protected as the entire heatsink compartment is filled with no space for heat to hangout in there. It seems to fit well with all compatible SSDs. It was made specifically for the PS5. I have the PS5 digital with disk. Overall. Very easy to install and very much does the job at a great quality.

Awesome value for the money and it was super easy to follow the instructions for installation! I have the original PlayStation 5 disc model, and there was perfect compatibility. The SSD that I used is stated to not really need one of these, but I read that it is always good to protect functionality and the quality of the overall new SSD and internals of the PS5. No complaints out of me! My PS five runs as well as a PS five pro easily.

Appears to work great so far, but not using any thermal tape. I thought it was included, but it was not, so I rolled with it being Christmas Day.

Après avoir consulté différents avis sur les dissipateurs potentiels, mon choix s'est porté sur le Sabrent M.2 NVMe PS5 heatsink. Il est ultra simple à installer et parfaitement adapté. Il s'installe à la place de la trappe d'origine à la perfection. Il est compatible avec les ssd interne M.2 NVMe au format 2280 qu'ils soient simple face ou double face et ne disposant pas de dissipateur thermique d'origine. Côté bruit, je ne dispose pas de point de comparaison avec un autre dissipateur thermique pour en parler avec objectivité. Le petit tournevis fourni est idéal pour fixer le ssd à la console, en revanche j'ai utilisé un autre tournevis (plus adapté à mon sens) pour visser le dissipateur à la place de la trappe d'origine. Il est installé depuis quelques jours et me donne entière satisfaction. La fonctionnalité particulière de ce dissipateur ne semble pas mensongère, je n'ai pas noté de hausse de chaleur à ce niveau depuis l'installation du ssd. Il est très efficace.

If your a PS5 owner and looking for a heatsink for your new ssd expansion then look no further. This Sabrent heatsink is a great choice! It fits the Playstation 5 expansion slot like a glove. It's super easy to install and comes with clear instructions. Once it's physically installed your good to go, no firmware updates or formatting needed. It works with any brand ssd that you choose to go with, so not just the Sabrent brand. So far the heatsink is doing its job perfectly. Before I got the Sabrent heatsink I was using a much cheaper type and whilst transferring a bunch of games im pretty sure it caused the ssd to overheat, initially it said 40mins left till complete the transfer, I checked back half hour later and it had changed to a crawling 99+ hours. Since getting this new heatsink installed iv tested the ssd with similar circumstances and it handled it all like a boss. Honestly, I was surprised how much of a difference it made. I am 100% recommending this product for anyone with a PS5 and planning a storage upgrade, it's worth the little bit of extra cash to keep your ssd and PS5 running smoothly.

I have installed a WD Black ssd and used the heatsink, it seems to be working great, I played games for about 7 hours and the ps5 hardly warmed up, very satisfied, recommended
