The media could not be loaded.  This product is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!!! We had the s k I m around basket and it broke after a year or so of use. I didn’t really want to spend that amount again but knew I needed something excuses my pool is older and I only have one skimmer basket in my 25,000 gal pool. This was cheaper than other items and honestly seemed too good to be true. But let me telll you!!!! IT WORKS!! It instantly makes like a tornado funnel above and sucks all things in my basket!!! I just sat eat on top of my skimmer basket that’s already in there!

Very disappointed with this purchase, yes it creates a vortex but it weak AF! All it does is cause the tiniest pieces of debris to circle around the vortex nothing like what’s shown on the videos

If you run your variable speed pump any higher than 1500-1750 RPM you are going to drastically notice the benefit of this product! That also includes those of you who have dual speed or single speed pumps, you’ll love it too.Any higher than 1500-1750 RPM, it just gets more & more effective. I, however, like to run my variable speed pump at 1100 RPM for 20 hours/day because it uses less energy than my garage light at that speed, so I notice a smaller benefit…but definitely notice how much more gets into the skimmer when the pump speed rises, say when my pool cleaner is running, etc.So take note that the higher the speed of your pump, the more benefit from this product. But the entire idea is that you can increase the skimmer effectiveness at lower speeds, saving energy…you just have to trial & error to determine what works best for your pool! Recommend this product!

I read the part that discussed water level, but I didn’t realize how exact that was. My pool filter basket is just over 4” below water line. Nothing I can do about that. It didn’t work. So I tried to come up with a way to raise the swirly plate thing and ended up using 1 inch rubber tubing. I molded it into a circle and used a connector the guy at the hardware store gave me. So basically I put a1” donut between the basket and the swirly plate thing and it works. It’s brilliant, raising the water pressure by narrowing the hole of the water suction. So it does do a better job sucking things down into the basket. I would probably look at a different product next time just because of my pool setup, but if you have a pool that has a higher basket than I do, this will probably work really well for you. In the meantime, this works fine for me with the addition of a home made donut.

That being said, I’m sure my basket is way to low for this to create that “tornado “ effect. The product itself is very well made. If I put my hand all the way down the water close to the basket I can definitely feel a pull so that’s a plus. My basket sits about 10” below the water level. I currently have a SkimDoctor and that sits right at the water level and it really pulls in the water. Which I can tell this would as well if it were not so deep. Just did not work for. Wish it did

Perhaps my water level is too high, but there really was no difference with this ring in or out. I tried pumping all the suction power to the skimmer basket instead of the vaccuum and tried it with and without this ring, there was no discernable difference. And, it's loose and moves (like others have said). I went with a much bigger device from a different company where it actually attaches to the basket and it works significantly better.

Unit fit is a little small in diameter in my skimmer.Cleans pool surface substantially better than standard skimmer. Water moves better in the pool and debri is concentrated around skimmer entry.Fantastic product.

My pool has a floating skimmer that goes up and down with water levels this one won't work with my skimmer. Waste of money for me.
