Been using it for almost 3 weeks now and I've read more manga than I can in six months. I love how the basic ereader can do the job precisely as they purpose. No distractions and just pure reading fun. The only down side is, if you're a heavy reader of manga/comics, the storage size will be insufficient, just buy the verse or verse pro.

I was looking for an e-reader not locked into a particular store, and this was highly recommended. In general I'm happy with the product, but there are some nuances I wish I understood before buying. Device: the device itself is great. If you need large print it might be a little small, but it is about as large and heavy as a small novella. Got me this profile is ideal and easy to hold for extended periods. Compatibility: You won't be able to read ebooks from Amazon, Barnes & Noble, or Bookshop.org; all of these use proprietary formats. PocketBook have their own store, but it is primarily German language books with limited English-language selections. You can use alternate stores that use epub or pdf format. This device is compatible with Adobe DRM. It requires an account, but it lets you load and read DRM-encrypted files on the device. I'm glad I am not locked into a single store, but I wish the ebook ecosystem was not a hideous swamp.

screen flickers horribly. Seems to switch between regular and dark mode randomly. Extremely slow, flickering screen when changing pages. Rather creepy privacy policy. This is getting returned.

Fast delivery, at first glance and from my experience using it, the product is excellent.

I couldn't warm up to it. It was slow and I didn't care for trying to navigate without a physical button. Quality was good. Some people might love it. It just wasn't for me.

Due to the Adobe Digital Editions being built in, you can read library books from Libby via the browser and also return them on the device too. The texture of the screen is great. Battery life is also really good. If you have Kindle books, you can't read them unless you change format. It is also light, similar to a Kindle Basic, but ad free as you can remove the store from your main menu. It is fingerprint heaven, but considering everything else, it works well. Cases are extremely rare but I love this device after having it 3 weeks.

Genial! Funciona muy bien, sepuedeadaptar tamaño de letra, tipo, iluminación... es un poco lioso meter un libro descargado de otra plataforma en epub, pero es posible hacerlo y cuando lo sabes resulta cómodo. Tengo los libros tanto en el ebook como en mi móvil gracias a la aplicación de Amazon, lo que lo convierte en un extra. Todo un acierto!!! La calidad precio es insuperable!

Excellent product. Pleasantly surprised and very happy with it. Has all the functionality I need and not too much unnecessary nonsense I do not. Great battery life. I even bought another as a gift for someone who loves it too.

I was debating which e-reader to buy for some time, but I’m really happy I chose the pocketbook in the end. The quality is lovely, its size is really convenient to travel with and it’s a pleasure to read from. It may not have as many fancy features as some of the newer devices, but that is part of its charm for me. It handles the basics beautifully.
