I wasn't sure these were going to work out because I had a hard time getting the knobs to fit. However, after a bit of a struggle I managed to get them on. They are now securely on, working out great and I'm very happy with them! My stove looks much better and they've turned out to be a great value for the money.

I don’t understand why a company would make a product that doesn’t really work for anyone. First, the plate with the numbers on it do not stick to the plastic knob. They are a different shape basically. One is curved the opposite way it seems. To make it stick you need to attach it with a strong glue and vise it together in the hopes it sticks for a long time. Second, the inserts don’t go all the way in the knob to stay in at all. Again, the shape is different and I was forced to cut the insert in thirds and glue the end into the knob but I’m not hopeful it will last any length of time. Makes no sense to me why they don’t redesign this product or just remove it from Amazon altogether. Too many products on here are basically useless to the consumer. Maybe some of you had luck but I’m sure it’s a very small amount of satisfied customers. I wanted these to work but in the end they just don’t fit secure enough to be any use to me. Yes, they are inexpensive but that is no excuse to create a product that just isn’t usable. Correct this and earn your money. Just blows my mind how many products just plain are poorly designed and still on here. Most people buy them and then just buy a different one making these companies money for nothing really. Step up companies and make at least a product that works as advertised. I know cheaper materials are used and they won’t last too long but they should at least fit correctly and go together as advertised. It’s sad that consumers have to be the watchdogs for a good product. Amazon should test every product they sell and if they can’t it shouldn’t be on here at all. It’s a waste of my time to wait to get it shipped and then find out it won’t even go together correctly. Now I have to order another companies product and who knows what will happen with that on. Be responsible and check all products. If it means there is only 50 of the same product rather than 200 so be it. At least we will know they are a good product and will work the first time. Please be more strict with who you let sell on here and to the company who makes them, put out a product you can be proud of and at least fits correctly. Even if it lasted a year I’d be happy but to be able to use at all is a waste of time and money and you should be aware of that and DO BETTER. Thank you

Even with a bit of work required to make these work, they're worth it. I made some pics for others who might buy these. Without any provided instructions at all, I had to look closely to see how the inserts would fit into the knobs. Once I figured out the ribs only went partway up the insert, it made sense (see photos). The second issue is that the adhesive on the underside of the decal rings won't hold to the knob at all, even after cleaning the knob thoroughly and holding tightly in place for a while with the recesses on the ring properly positioned on the knob - they'll pop up soon after you quit holding pressure. My solution was to simply set the decals (carefully selecting the right orientation for my stove) into a bed of white glue and clamping them down using rubber bands and pill bottles. An hour after gluing, they now seem to be held firmly to the knobs. Though the supplier of these should obviously have used a decal adhesive that sticks better to the plastic knobs, gluing wasn't too much trouble. With any single OEM knob costing significantly more than this whole set of 5, I'm satisfied... but would recommend to the manufacturer to up the price a bit and use an adhesive that actually works.

It fits with the adapter, but I had to modify it to be able to press the knob in and turn because the little plastic finger inside isn’t long enough. I used a small plastic wall anchor turned upside down over the finger and it works fine.

My 1967 Maytag range was in dire need of new knobs. I searched online for OEM replacements but Maytag, now Whirlpool, no longer makes them. I purchased these replacement knobs determined to make them work. Here are some pro tips. 1) Choose the proper knob adapter to fit the stem. 2) Before permanently inserting the adapter into the knob, go to your original and check to see the depth of its cavity and whether there is a built-in stop to push the knob all the way down to turn it on. Mine happened to have a stop. 3) Take a bamboo skewer and mark the total depth of the original cavity and the depth of the stop. Make note of the position of the stop. Mine was at the bottom end of the knob. 4) Note, the top end of the replacement knob is marked with a small hole to help position the adapter and the label in the proper orientation. Also note, the replacement knob cavity is much larger than the original. 5) In order to add a stop to the replacement knob, I used the marked skewer to find a flathead screw of the right length. 6) I glued a screw into the bottom end of the cavity, using Gorilla Glue. Once dried, I inserted the adapter securely. 7) Testing it out, it works perfectly. Given the manufacturer no longer carries OEM replacement knobs, I am very happy that these work.

You get what you pay for in quality of plastic - light and kind of flimsy. The adhesive on the metal ring does not stick to the know very well, so I had to add more glue. The inserts for the knob design works well, but you really need to push them hard to get them to stick to the knob. 3 stars.
