Budget Solution
This stuff seems to work just fine. I didn't do an analytical, double-blind study on it's accuracy as some others here apparently have. But I would say this. This set costs as little as half as much as the same products from name brand manufacturers. And even they have detractors claiming they aren't spot on either. I think there are always naysayers. And it clearly states the product is for students in the classroom, not for atomic scientists. So for those of us who have to budget these things as one more expense of our hydro setup when we ran out of money four expenditures ago, Innovating Science is a godsend. When I have more money, maybe I'll spend it. But for now, this works for me.

Apera PH60S is a high quality instrument for cured meat testing.
I ordered this meter to step up my game in making dry fermented sausages. Most recipes I have found give you a range of hours for fermenting with a caution to test the pH to optimize the flavor. I have been looking for a good quality portable tester and this is exactly the tool that will ensure accurate and repeatable results. The unit is able to be calibrated and the video tutorials answer a lot of questions.

Seems like a good kit if you actually need it
Seems like a good kit if you actually need it. Just make sure not to purchase anything with lead and other hazardous materials to test your environmental quality, which of course would only make sense. Oakton of course doesn't seem to see it that way as I purchased this to go with their instrument and now of course do not require it as it is being returned.

Best Price I found... My testing kit is complete!
Best price I found for calibration solutions. Used in conjunction with the Bluelab PH & EC pens. 100% pleased with my overall testing kit 3 part kit provides increased accuracy over the 2-stage. The storage solution is great and appropriate that it comes in a smaller quantity. Be sure to keep stored in a cool dark location, don't pour excess back into the big containers and you're good to go!

Innovating Science Buffer Calibration Kit.
Title: Innovating Science Buffer Calibration Kit Includes: Three bottles with excellent colours, perfect amount of moisture inside, very readable writing on the labels, strong looking plastic and also a smaller bottle with clear fluid. Presupposition: That looks professional! Attention: None of the fluids taste very good. I used a pH meter of dubious quality on these fluids and found readings of 4.02 for the red, 6.97 for the yellow and 10.01 for the blue. If anyone else uses a pH meter on this set please let me know your findings I suspect they could be similar. Also, equal amounts of these fluids make an interesting purple colour, however testing shows it still does not taste very good. EDIT: I was told by someone classier than me that taste is all opinion, and I have to agree. So it is just my opinion that these fluids don't taste good.

Good Quality and Price
Good quality, good price and fast delivery. I use these to calibrate a pH meter. They seem to be spot on and give consistent results. My desired accuracy is not that great +/- 0.25 on measurements but this seems to get my instruments to +/- 0.1. I calibrate about once every twenty five readings doing anthocyanin extraction in HCl aq.

Essential if you want your pH readings to mean anything
I bought these to check out a Dr.Meter PH002. A pH 7 buffered solution is critical for zeroing the meter. Using grocery-store distilled water, the meter read a pH of 5.9, probably because distilled water typically absorbs CO2 from the air, and can be quite acidic. You need a solution buffered to neutral pH to have any confidence that your solution is really neutral. The other two solutions let you know if the scale factor (which you can't adjust on this meter) is correct. The kit comes with MSDS data, but no instructions.
