The RCB4T secondary pump works great with the jet pump psi variation and on/off starts
I have had the RCB4T 400GPD over a year, it has exceeded my expectations in both price and performance. I use it to provide a whole house water supply system for our 2000 sq ft house in Rio Hardy Mexico that sources some really nasty pond water that has a TDS of around 1200, with a lot of algae, chemicals and dirt in the mix. Operating temperatures for the unit go from 118F in the summer to 35F in the winter. We run the water from the pond to cistern to a UV unit, then over to an ISpring whole house filter system (WCB22b) using a ¾ HP jet pump at 30/50 psi range. The WCB22b has a large 5 micron sediment filter and a carbon filter to take out any chlorine (chlorine can be destructive to the RO filters and needs to be neutralized before it goes into the RCB4T). From there I have it go to the 400 gallon per day Reverse Osmosis unit, ISpring tankless RCB4T, which then dumps into two 400 gallon storage tanks. The tanks have a float valve that will stop the flow once full and the RCB4T has a pressure switch that shuts off the system until needed. The RCB4T secondary pump works great with the jet pump psi variation and on/off starts. Ive researched out many RO units and this ISpring unit seemed to have the best specifications for the money. I can say we really put it to the torture test in that we run it 24/7 in extreme heat and dirt when we are down there with our whole family. We have probably used over 18000 gallons through the system so far, and Im now buying a second unit as I want to make sure we have plenty of capacity and can do multiple washing machine loads without too much draw down on the tanks. My tank TDS are running at 60 and our bio and chem test strips show no chemical residue or chloroform contamination after one year of operation with same filters. This machine is easy to configure and is highly reliable, made me feel like I made a good choice. My wife likes it because shampooed hair comes out really soft, there is no water line residue in the toilets and I can make ice in the refrigerator.

Great for residential use! (Almost 5 stars w/ a caveat)
After deliberating over whether or not to purchase this product or one with a tank, we decided to go with this one. So, I'm glad we did. We had a plumber set it up who listed R/O installation as one of the specialties/areas of focus. (This point is very important as not all plumbers install R/O systems!) It's a large system (about the width of a tank and fairly "tall"), so it was tricking getting to fit under the sink. This system replaced our "regular" R/O system with a tank. Before you install, be sure to check it to make sure that there wasn't any damage before you hire a plumber. I learned the hard way when after he had it all hooked up, it started spraying water from one of the elbow joint connectors to one of the filters. (The "caveat" preventing a "5 star" rating.) Luckily, my plumber knew what to do and switched out one from the old R/O system we had replaced (it was still in very good condition, but the tank failed - internal bag leaked). It took him no more than 10 minutes to make the switch and working as it should. The system works well, the water tastes great, and the pump is VERY quiet. (The pump is important because of no tank.) The one "flaw" to this system - if you will - is that it is designed for fairly constant use. Not enough for as a whole house system (I believe, unless it's a very small house), but maybe more than for a residential under-the-sink use. (Perhaps this is why some use it for green houses, car washes, and the like.) With infrequent home use, there is a delay to when the pump kicks on and thus we have to wait several seconds for the pump motor to begin circulating. Slightly annoying, but once it does, the pressure is better than any R/O system we've used (we've had 2), and it works great with the hot/cold faucet system. What I also like about this system is that it more efficient than tank-based systems which helps save on water. In summary:PROS:1 - Great water pressure compared to tank-based R/O systems2 - More efficient that tank systems3 - Pump is VERY quiet.4 - Perfect for high-volume or frequent use.5 - No tank-related issues.CONS:1 - Slight delay with infrequent home use (about 10 seconds)2 - Was slightly damaged upon arrival despite standard packing3 - More expensive than tank systems4 - Fairly large making installation under small or cramped kitchen sink cabinets difficult (depending on configuration).TIPS:1 - Measure open space underneath kitchen sink area (or where ever it'll be installed) BEFORE purchase.2 - Carefully check system for damage in shipping BEFORE calling a plumber (I got lucky as I did NOT check before hand).3 - If you use a plumber, be sure that he or she provides R/O system installation as a service. Don't assume they all know how to install or troubleshoot if an issue arises.4 - Check all of the filters. They are wrapped and you will need to take them out of their packaging before installation. It's very easy to do.I strongly recommend getting this product, but in hindsight, this may be a bit more system for my house than I need. Considering the cost, iSpring may have a smaller system that fits your needs.I would have given it 5 stars if it had not come to me broken. Luckily, it was able to be fixed quickly and easily.

This product would be good for commercial sales
Bought this product a few month ago now we barely use it. This device was broken after only 2 weeks of use. The motor seems to be weak and it burned out. This product would be good for commercial sales. I tried installing it and I had to call the technician right away because of how complicated the instructions were. An expensive product so I definitely don't recommend this product to anyone. Just call your local water shop for the best. This is such a rip-off. Would be nice if I could've returned it. Now we barely use it with motor dysfunction, it still filters the water out but water flow is very very weak. Now we use this machine for feeding my dog's water. This product is very useless to be exact.

Water tastes great when the water gets to the faucet
A fitting was broke when I took it out of the box! But there was a extra one in the kit that I used to replace it! Water tastes great when the water gets to the faucet!

I did not like the idea of having water that runs through a ...
I bought the iSpring GPD Light Commercial Tankless Reverse Osmosis RO Water Filter. I connectedit to a (large) home furnace to increase humidity. Since I am on a well, I did not like the idea of having water that runs througha softener and its salt them makes it into the house. Previously, I had connected another osmosis system (also with a pump) to it, but the demand placed by my furnce onto that unit was just too high . This unit supplies plenty of water through its well thoughout design. I never run out of water.Unit is very well built, installation was easy, and replacement of one part was not a big deal. I am very pleased and fully recommend the unit.

Rural water treatment
Good product. Hooked it up to a 90gal diaphragm tank. Reduced precharge to 7psi. This unit now supplies my home with clean water. Has been in use in this configuration for over a year. Filters are easy to change, and the unit has functioned as advertised.Pump is powerful and quiet. This is remarkable considering the state of the well we draw water from. Though This unit does not filter bacteria. i considered adding a UV stage, but at present we use hydrogen peroxide in the well and pre-filter with a LARGE 20 micron pre filter.
