Q: Are the insoles removable so I can add my arch orthotic under the insole?

The insole is attached but can be removed easily. I put my orthotics right on top of the insole. However, if you look closely at the heel picture of this shoe, there is a little open square hole which has frayed, worn out and caused a huge blister. I've resorted to hot glueing pieces of foam over the hole, and this spot still wears out. May be just my foot physiology? But I think it's a design flaw. So sorry because every other aspect of this shoe is amazing!! I'm a power walker, so maybe this shoe isn't meant for that??

I too have foot problems so brought this style for dress. They are a little big so I wear a thicker sock in them. I wouldn't run in them, just my personnel opinion
