Positive experience. Purchased August 2022. As many have already noted... the instructions leave a lot to be desired. Having said that, the support I received from the seller was first class. I asked plenty of questions and received prompt and relative responses. Recommend the third party warranty. Only time will tell. I will try to update in a year or so

It does not provide 7.5KW and cannot convert three phase it did not function other than turn on. Even as a static converter could not start a 3 phase 1.KW motor. No instructions, pamphlet is from a different converter, no website, no tech support number only information "Made in India".

I use this to add a 2nd and 3rd phase to be able to run my 3 phase air compressor. I reached out to their support before I bought it and they were very helpful. They wanted a picture of the data plate from the motor and had their engineers review to recommend which size I should get. I mentioned to them that it was for an air compressor and they even provided instructions to set it up to work with my pressure switch! I would highly recommend this VFD if you only have single phase and want to run a 3 phase motor. (Ignore my wiring. I tried another VFD first and ran 10/3 with a 30A breaker. When I switched to this one I ran 8/3 (you can use 8/2 though) with a 40A breaker. I just haven't tidied it up yet. )

It works fine but the instructions for the settings are unclear

I converted a 220/460v 3ph compressor to 220v single phase. The drive worked great. The motor is 7.5 HP with nameplate amps of 19A. The drive had no problem starting the motor and my gut is the motor is wired in star not delta. As the application is pretty simple programming the drive was relatively straightforward. The additional information listed in the product description was very helpful. The instruction manual is pretty basic. Without some drive programming experience the manual would be challenging to understand. Overall, I would recommend this drive to anyone looking for an affordable solution to convert a 3ph motor to single phase.

I bought the units to use on a Lathe and one for a saw and mill. They have run them as stated and all my items are 3/phase and had to convert them and I am running them now.

Got this for a gift and it doesn’t run a 7.5hp motor. Putting out over 500v on the 3rd leg and displays error message. Tried contacting support and no way to get ahold of the company. Do not recommend!
