The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills (Season 1) - 5-DVD Set

I avidly viewed the series when it was on sky television, I viewed all of the other housewives series, New York, New Jersey etc but Beverly Hills is my preferred choice. You get such a close insight of all the wives. Lisa resembles Jaqueline Bisset iin looks, a little bit of a control freak but says it as it is. Camille such a schemer, new exactly what she was about at every step of the way, my least favourite. and what was kissing Nick on the lips, trying to boost her ego I think and in front of the nose of his wife, she should have the balls to put a stop to it, makes her look foolish. Kyle & Kym will always beg to differ but will always love each other. Adrienne showed little respect and affection for Paul, I am not surprised the marriage ended. Taylor bless her heart, what a super lady with a heart of gold who was terribly misunderstood and deserved more constructive help than she received for the most part, The death of Russell, what a shock !!!!!! something else the poor woman has had to deal with, she can only move forward un upward now and deserves peace and happiness.As she said you would have had to have walked in her shoes to have just imagined what she was going through, I have. I would advise viewers, watching the season many times over will give you the best insight to all the wives, then form an opinion. I am patiently awaiting delivery of season 2 then will order the follow on seasons as they become available.I am happy to comment whenever required.Anne Thomson.

Real Housewives of Bev Hills is my guilty pleasure! I like watching it because it's very absorbing for me to see how the other half lives.This episode had a lot of drama. Everything started off friendly. It sounded like Camille wanted to make peace. It sounded like Kyle was eager to mend broken fences. Interestingly though, both women were anticipating conflict. Kyle was talking with Faye in the car. It sounded like Kyle and Faye already had the opinion that Camille was not a good person. Camille and her friends were joking about kicking old friends to the curb. I think the dinner party was probably doomed from the start. No one really entered the party with an open mind.When Camille brought up the fact that Faye had done playboy, she should have known no good would come out of that. When Kyle and Faye started whispering about Camille's psychic friend, it was disrespectful. There's really no point in going to a dinner party if you can't even be civil. All those women should have known what would happen. If you are going into something and there is already tension, then something will happen. It's like having a powder keg ready to explode.A lot of people don't like Camille's friends. They did get very aggressive and mean, but they were defending their friend. It's the same as what Kyle's friends would have done, if they were wittier. In the end of the episode, where the girls all ditched Kyle's sister Kim, it just showedwhat Camille was saying, those women were really willing to turn on each other.It really does take two people to continue an argument and have a fight.

I don't know if this is even worth saying again but Camille - Really? Are you so delusional you need to attack your guests through your "so-called" guests? Everyone can see that what you accused Kyle of doing was really what you did with that so-called spiritual psychic.Camille - Really? Do you think Kyle is jealous of you? You really need to look in the mirror and have a wake up call. No one who watches this show is falling for your pranks, everyone can see right through you and I feel sorry for you.May I just also say, Lisa I love you. If there is anyone on this show that I really enjoy is Lisa. She is always composed, she looks absolutely georgous and she seems like a genuine person.Kyle just a little advice stop trying to get an answer from someone who is so oblivious to her own truth.Kim, I feel bad because they are always turning on you and misunderstanding your motive. With that said, next time when your sister asks you in front of her enemy to speak the truth, do it on behalf of your kinship. Don't be afraid to show your love.As for the "so-called" psychic, you truly revealed what a witch you are, your evil exudes with every breath. It is hilarious that you called Kyle "washed up" when the show you gave advice to was taken off the air.

This season is the DEFINITION of Beverly Hills: wealth, glamour, opulence, class, but with a twist of drama. A lot of superficiality: beauty, mansions, designer clothes, private jets, constant mention of wealth. Now the show has simmered down and focuses more on scripted drama. This season would definitely not be accepted in 2020: a few derogatory slangs made by Lisa Vanderpump against ethnic people in Hollywood & mass amount of vain aesthetics. But if you love that wealthy glamorous LA fantasy, this season is for you!!!!!!

Real Housewives of B.H. is my guilty pleasure. I've never watched the others, but one night, skipping through On Demand, I turned on an episode and that was it...I was totally hooked. I realize I'm outing myself here, because until now, it was a guilty private pleasure. But it's worth it. Every juicy, lurid, skanky, narcissistic second is packed with venom. This episode has so many gnarly "Oh my God!" moments, I didn't even care that I paid two dollars for a show with little longevity. It was instant gratification and I was happy to indulge. If you like this series, you'll love the finale...and you'll watch it more than once, I promise. Recommended.

Hate reality shows. I ordered this one by accident. There is enough back-stabbing going on in life without watching a bunch of rich bitches putting on a show just for money and ratings. Who watches this crap?

Season 1 is still the best season of "RHOBH" because mainly none of these women knew what they were exactly getting into. We are now at the tail end of 2017 and season 8 has just started. Keep in mind there have been great moments since Season 1 but no season has come close to matching this season. "The Dinner Party From Hell" is an episode that everyone should see!

Love it i wish i could get series 2 but don't know where.

Je devais être sévèrement déprimée le jour où j'ai commandé cette série !Fronts botoxés, nez rabotés , pommettes de vieux bébés , extensions, seins siliconés , bouches en bec de canard,(avec parfois la voix qui va avec..) : nous avons la totale en matière d'artifices .; de vrais mannequins de cire !Ne nous arrêtons pas aux apparences et passons à la beauté intérieure : essayons de trouver quelque chose d'intéressant à ces femmes dont la seule gloire est d'avoir épousé des hommes riches .....hélas, trois fois hélas, on atteint là un degré de pauvreté intellectuelle abyssal , une vanité sans limites, et une méchanceté permanente faite d'envie, de commérages et de jalousie .Non contentes de s'observer en permanence pour voir quelle est la plus belle (de toute façon elles se ressemblent toutes ), ces fausses amies passent leur temps à masquer le vide de leur existence et de leur cerveau en multipliant les activités futiles : shopping, fêtes diverses, coiffeur, etc ..etc ..où le must est de dépenser un maximum pour épater la galerieBon , jetons un coup d'oeil sur leurs belles demeures , peut-être allons- nous découvrir de beaux meubles et de merveilleux objets d'époque agencés avec goût puisque ces dames sont férues de décoration? ...Pauvres de nous , leurs intérieurs de parvenus sont du plus parfait mauvais goût ! Dorures à foison, fausses colonnes, stucs hideux ...Ayant malgré tout réussi dans un effort surhumain à visionner tous les épisodes, la question qui me taraude est la suivante : comment les maris de ces femmes ont-ils pu les épouser, et comment les supportent-ils ? . J'en déduis que ces messieurs ressemblent à leurs épouses : incultes, vaniteux et prisonniers des apparences .
