Perfect for our orders
We got this exclusively for our DoorDash orders, only to find out it isn’t one of DoorDash’s “recommended” machines. But we were able to connect it (in the DoorDash merchant portal not in settings) and it works great! Super easy set up, literally came ready to go. No need to even put it in Bluetooth mode, it’s always ready to connect. Prints quickly and clearly. And it’s super heavy duty. Totally worth the price so far.

NOT AS ADVERTISED
Not as advertised. The "compare" chart laying out the differences between the different Star printers says that this connects via LAN, Bluetooth, etc but it actually only connects to ONE bluetooth device at a time, no other way to connect it to anything. It is a one-device printer for $300+. My cash drawer won't even connect to it, so it's literally just a DoorDash receipt printer. Such a waste

Will buy again
This is essentially a clone of the much more expensive micros printer. It’s crazy easy to set up, decent Bluetooth range. Easy square pos set up. I use on a food truck, bounces around and keeps on ticking. Have had minor intermittent issues with paper roll sensor. It will not notify you with audible alarm when there is a paper jam, paper outage or a loss of connection with device. There is a red error light. But nothing audible to alert, so if you lose connection you will not receive ticket. This can be a problem when your busy as has been the case with us on several occasions. The square app will not let you know there is a problem, such as out of paper. Great price.

Easy-to-use ticket printing machine
Very easy to use machine, the operation is also very simple, Bluetooth connection is ok, it is very convenient to print with it, and it is very convenient to be compatible with many machines and very good products.

Works with OpenTable!
For anyone using OpenTable this syncs right up via Bluetooth to an iPad and I can imagine an android tablet as well. I thought it was a little pricy, but I believe buying the right quality product is better than a crappy one that is hard to connect and only lasts a couple months to a year. Noise is fairly non existent. Printing speed is ok, not the fastest I have seen but I’m just nitpicking on an otherwise fantastic printer.
