I've been meaning to buy this type of hanger forever – I've been "hanging" my skirts by folding them over a regular hanger, which of course leaves an obvious line around the skirt that has to be steamed or ironed out. Just hanging the skirts properly in the first place is a much better (and less time-consuming) option!These hangers are designed not to catch on or snag your clothing – all smooth edges, with very little that could potentially damage your clothes. The top part that hooks over the rack has a little ball at the end to prevent snags, and the hooks that attach to your skirts or pants don't have any serrations that could catch. The wooden bar itself has slightly rounded edges and is polished to a very smooth finish that shouldn't snag even very fine or delicate fabrics.The clips are also adjustable – you can slide them back and forth on the wire bar to accommodate different sizes of clothing. They don't slide easily, though, which is a huge plus – I'd previously tried to hang up my skirts using some inexpensive plastic clips that attach to plastic hangers, and that was just a waste of money. I wound up with a wad of skirt dangling from one end of the hanger because the clips would slide every time the hanger was bumped even slightly. The hooks have very strong springs in them, so they're surprisingly strong – the heaviest item I use these hangers for are my long flowy "hippie skirts" (which do have some weight to them), but I could definitely hang much heavier items without them slipping free if I were so inclined. The top part also moves, so if you hang something up "backwards" you don't have to take it off and re-hang it, you can just swivel the hook the other direction.The wooden bars on the hangers make them a little bit thicker than regular plastic hangers, but not by much. The small amount of extra space they require is basically enough to keep your clothes from being squished together if you were to push the hangers close together.I would actually recommend buying the 10-pack of this product because they're very good quality, are very unlikely to damage your clothes, and because 5 hangers just aren't enough! (And at the time I'm writing this review, the 10-pack is only $3 more than the 5-pack!)I received this product for free in exchange for an honest and unbiased review.

Looks nice and holds well. Just don't push the clip too far into the bend at the end, or it will pop apart. Happened to me once, but I was able to get it back together. The rest of the wire is wide enough. I like that the hook swivels -- that's a deal breaker for me.I leave these hangers open for guests when they visit -- otherwise, I use them for my pants!

Really high quality pants hangers! The clips slide easily to accommodate any width pants or skirt. The wooden top is smooth and sturdy and the color is a perfect match for my shirt hangers. The tops of course swivel if you're OCD like me and have to have EVERYTHING facing the same way. Most importantly, the clips are smooth so they don't leave any marks behind on your fabric but they still hold everything tight and secure. Really pleased with my purchase.

Nice hangers. A bit thick. I has some earlier that were thinner profile and had hook to stack and I liked those better. These are still good hangers though

Great hangers for the price. Updated my closet by switching out all the cheap plastic hangers and replaced them with wood. I needed hangers for trousers and skirts, I don't like the crease that's created when you fold them over a regular hanger. I also hate when the clips slide causing the pants to gather toward one end or the other. No slipping here! The clips stay in place.

I've been searching for sturdy but attractive skirt hangers for ages. Some look awful but manage to hold up well. Others look pretty but quickly fall apart. Finally, I found a skirt hanger that looks beautiful with strong, sturdy clips that will most likely will outlive me by a couple of decades. Best of all, the price for a set of five is very reasonable..

I bought these to hang pants, but the moveable clips were too awkward to use. They would probably work better for skirts with varying waistbands. I sent them back - nothing wrong with the product, but just not right for mty needs.

The quality of these hangers is great. After purchasing them, I find I prefer the "clam shell" pants hangers vice this style. Just a personal preference not a knock against these hangers.
