Deliver to OMAN

2012 release, the third album from the Irish Pop trio. #3 finds the band delivering more of its emotionally charged melodic pop. The album follows up 2010's Science & Faith and once again showcases vocalist and The Voice UK judge Danny O'Donoghue. Also appearing on the album is Black Eyed Peas member will.i.am, who guests on the leadoff single, "Hall of Fame." Other songs included on #3 are "Six Degrees of Separation" and "If You Could See Me Now."

Script is Genuine In Music!
The fact that they are all Irish Heritage is the best thing that I love to see. How many do you see that are Irish and actually have a talent like this? Not many at all. Their music is great overall. They are not some one shot band that comes or goes, but they actually put meaning in their songs, and overall are just amazing singers. The quality of their music is one thing, but the meaning and having that meaning through ALL songs on any album is something rare. I love the fact that they are so compelled in their music that they stay true to it as well. They don't try to please the public, but they do what they love which makes it a genuine feelings to their worlds. The sad thing is I grew up with the rap population mainly (91') kid and most my friends don't even like them. They like the stupid stuff like Lil'Wayne talking about smoking air and getting high which is completely meaningless honestly. But these people have soul and heart added to their music. You can relate to songs in their album. This is probably the best album I have heard. I haven't gotten any CD's in a LONG time. But I'm starting to get their albums and others, I've just started actually and of course the first I choose is amazing band like this that stays true to itself.

LOVE The Script
It has been a VERY long time since I've been this amped about a band. The Script is lyrically intelligent and emotionally driven. Their sound is genuine on all 3 albums. I cannot even pick a favorite since they are all great. Their third album, #3, is amazing. So much so that I bought the delux version just to get "Hurricanes". I had the pleasure of seeing them perform live this past fall and if I wasn't hooked before, I certainly was following the concert. They sound exactly the same live as they do on their albums...a true sign of real talent...not this manufactured crap that is all over pop radio these days. If you liked either of their two previous albums, you'll love #3!!! The Script is nearly all I listen to these days...so much so that I think my husband is getting sick of them. Favorite tracks from #3 are probably, "If You Could See Me Now" and "Millionaires", although truly, I love them all. Can't wait for another US tour and a 4th album!!!

No one else like them.
While they may not be one of the best groups in music, they are surely one of the most original. Since their sophomore release this trio from Ireland has grown on me and with '#3', they have become a regular in my listening cycle. Their blend of harmonies and rap along with their one of a kind lyrical capabilities makes '#3'one of the most unique albums of 2012. As a person who was not the biggest fan of their debut, I am now tempted to give it another listen. No two songs on this album sound the same. The meaning of each song is different. Each one puts you in a different mood. Some are sing-a-longs and some are just great listens. One thing is for sure, The Script is now going to be one of those bands that will stand the test of time. While they may not be in the limelight on a constant basis, they will keep putting out records and remain a household name among the fan base. '#3' is a great album, and it is definitely worth a listen if anything.

A Kiss Like a Whisper
My best buddy from senior high school told me about this band recently. I picked up the set after he raved about "Hall of Fame." It's a very strong set. My favorite track on the set is "Glowing" with its pumping beat and a lyric that sounds like a plot outline from a Julia Roberts movie, "I woke up this morning to a kiss just like a whisper, an empty suitcase, and I knew that you were gone." "No Words" also has me reach for the repeat button with its airy background vocals, great keyboard wall of sound, and the lyric that traces the search for romance in a less-than-romantic world, "I could talk all day long about dreams, sewing up your heart so you never see a seam." The CD concludes with another great track, "Millionaires," that is catchy and sticks in your ear. While #3 is my intro to this band, it certainly warrants further exploration of this excellent band. Enjoy!

Good Ol' Album
Opinion seems to be divided over whether The Script's third offering is a disappointing departure from their tried and tested winning formula or a triumph in being new and inventive. For me, all three of The Script's albums are undeniably The Script, yet each has its own sound and vibe. And that is what makes The Script so exciting - their ability to deliver, time and again, fantastic melodies which get everyone singing along, while keeping it fresh, innovative and current. It was always going to be tough to top Science & Faith but 3 is a great collection of songs, with the first four tracks being every bit as good as the best from their previous two albums. I was fortunate enough to see them play at Islington Academy and Good Ol' Days (my husband's favourite), Six Degrees of Separation (my favourite) and Hall of Fame (my eldest daughter's favourite and a deserved number one single) sat comfortably amongst their greatest hits. If You Could See Me Now (my youngest daughter's favourite) is a beautiful tune with moving lyrics. Broken Arrow, with its soaring chorus, is lifted higher by the string arrangement which also works brilliantly in No Words. This song's chorus will linger in your mind long after the CD has stopped playing. The Script's storytelling is at its best in Glowing (love the ending) and Millionaires will have everyone singing their hearts out (standing on chairs if available!). Hurricanes, off the deluxe edition, is also a lovely song with great imagery. A little less rapping and a little more of Danny's soulful singing vocals would be my only request for album number four but I am loving 3 and can't wait to hear it live in March. Thanks Danny, Mark and Glen for this life enhancing music.

Sticking to the Script
One thing that I like about The Script is that they remind me so much of Dublin my home City when you are many thousand of Kilometres away. No I am getting sentimental its just their overall Sound. Distances here are great where I am at this moment, so if you play an album in the car you want it to be entertaining and comfortable to listen to while you are driving, know the feeling. Of the first two albums the first would be my favourate so when I listened to this new one I found that you could dismiss it in a kind of way. It's an album that you have to play a few times before you discover how good it really is. Play it in the car, play it loud but preferably play it on your own if you get a chance. The stand out tracks for me so far are Hall of Fame which deserved the number one position in the UK Charts, No Words, Kaleidscope and If you could see me now. These Guys are talented songwriters in an era when so much music now is disposable.I can only relate to you that I am going to order the deluxe edition for the extra tracks. I will close the review by writing this....Like it, Love it, Buy it.

the script #3
I recently purchased this album by the script who happen to be my favourite band at the moment !#3 is a good album I love the fact that the songs within this album are well written and meaningful , to the point that we can indeed relate to the lyrics which i think is really important ! Danny,s lyrics are always so rich and beautiful he sings with so much heart and emotion which makes the album really special .I dont really want to give any critisism to this album . but there are two things that this album needs to perhaps change and the first being that there is way too much rapping on this album and it just doesnt warrant it ..also this album although it has a warning on it there is a bit of colourful language which kinda spoils it a bit ..what i would love to hear more of is danny singing more ballads something a bit slower pace and i say that because he has an amazing voice that deserves to be showcased that bit more ..and my favourite song ? Broken Arrow .. amazing song ..and my rating for the album ? im giving this 4 stars well worth buying you wont be dissapointed by this album and well worth purchasing especially if you have other albums by the script !

The script rocks
This is a serious album of music for Script fans. The voice of Danny O,Donnaghue and his band is just amazing and every song a little gem. There is not one song on this entire album that you won,t love and listen too endless times.Ive never had my album off the player and as a new scriptette just purchased (science and faith). The voice UK where I first heard Danny along with jesse J and sir tomjones and will,i,am judging is where I fell in love with the tone of danny,s unique voice and infectious humour and energy. I started to listen to the band as a whole after Danny sang with one of his contestants BO Bruce whom he was coaching and new I was missing out on what was obviously the uk,s biggest band to be following.Buy this you won,t be disappointed and enjoy the music of The Script and be taken to a whole new level of this irish bands talent.

And that's 3 from 3 for the script!
Their 3rd album, and the 3rd album of theirs that you can just put on and listen to EVERY track. So rare these days! The music is only slightly changing (it's called maturity) despite some reports we read before the release that caused some concern, but it is so obviously Danny and the boys. The music itself is great, and the lyrics have your mind conjuring up images and reliving memories, as they are relevant to everbody in one way or another.Still really enjoying this album, even though we have played it almost constantly since it arrived. It arrived very quickly and, as always with Amazon, in perfect condition. Will buy more music from Amazon, and we are now looking forward to the Scripts future, and seeing where they take us next!

Took a while to grow on me, but I love it!!!!
I'm a big fan of the script, so i pre-ordered this for release day. As soon as it arrived it went straight in the car so that I could turn the volume up and listen in peace to the music. I have to say though that my first impressions weren't that favourable and there was too much rapping for my liking but 5 days on and i'm now hooked. There are so many truly inspirational songs it's hard to pick a favourite but I have to say that when you buy the deluxe 2 CD set you get the original 'Hall of fame' minus Will-i-am (i'm not his biggest fan) which is so much better. This album gets better and better the more you listen to it!!!

Worst Script album yet released!
The worst of their four albums to date. Took a long time for me to make the purchase decision and only made it in the end by 'Hall of Fam3' ultimately growing on me, but that is the only track worthy of listening to on the whole album, which seems too Will-I-am influenced; not that I dislike Will-I-am but they should've let him stick to what he does great whilst they continue with what they do great! Most disappointing album purchase in years; own fault, should've gone with my first decision!

After the voice
I only really got into the Script after watching the voice on the tv. This is now the third cd of theirs I have bought and thoroughly love it. The songs are great and there is a nice feel about them. I don't know what else to say but if you like the Script you will love this album.
