TI-84 Plus CE Graphing Calculator, Black

This is mostly the norm at college and did not hesitate to purchase this for my calculus class. My professor has one, older one, but still functional for him so I got the latest one. The colors adds a great touch to this. It is a bit of a learning curve for me not having to use one is so long but not impossible, it is very doable.

my 9th grade who is taking calc asked to get specifically this model. 1. this is what they use at school 2. this one has colored screen that is much easier to comptehend visually. 3. has more functions then others he looked at. Seller was great too and he had it at no time

Perfect. Just what I needed for school

I had an older TI-84 in high school. I think it was a plus because it had a color screen but it was so much thicker than this one! I'm kinda mad I couldn't find my old calculator and had to buy a new one considering the price, but just for the thickness alone I'm almost glad I did. The old one was huge! This one's maybe twice as thick as my phone. I agree with others that it seems super overpriced considering I have an app on my phone that works pretty much the same and I use it a lot when I'm too lazy to go get my calculator to do homework. That being said, a lot of classes require this calculator and it's approved on pretty much all standardized tests so it's kind of like textbooks. Yes the price sucks but sometimes you've got to suck it up and fork over the money. If you can find a used one, definitely get that because a lot of people won't be using this calculator after school. Also, for those worried about durability, I try to baby this thing because of the price but it's taken some hard falls and no damage so far, so they're pretty rugged.

We purchased this product for our daughter to use in her classes. Works great and easy to use.

Product was for my son who is taking calculus(Summer) and AP Calculus AB Senior year. He finds it very useful and easier to see with the color graphics. Great for Engineering students.

The calculators are fantastic work well in a college setting for students. The negative part of the review is that one arrived and had been opened with the cord removed. Contacted seller and they readily agreed to replace the cord. That is the last I have heard. Therefore I will have to purchase a charger cord that was part of the purchase. This is unacceptable for quality sellers!
