Bought this to replace the original cone. It is a little tight, but once in place this does fit snug and doesn't come loose, like I was having with the original smooth cone.

After some reviews I wondered if it would work. Definitely does the job.

Exactly what I needed for my pool cleaner.

Out of the packaging, the product was too small to fit my 1.5” hose. But because it was pliable, I soaked it in hot water to soften it up and I got it to fit. It was a tight fit, but it went on. We’ll see how well the skimmer end stays in the suction hole.

As other reviews have stated, this adapter won't accept (just barely) a 1.5 inch hose. I broke out an exacto knife and slowly trimmed back around the opening of the adapter. Once I was able to get the 1.5 inch hose into the adapter, i really pushed hard to get it all the way in. It fit fine on the suction side. All in all it is working as it should, and now my hose isn't constantly coming out of the suction hole when the filter pump is off.

The valve cuff fits into my Hayward skimmer (after removing the basket). I was then able to insert the Zodiac flow keeper valve. The Zodiac then started to suction the debris from the pool.

Holding up in the sun so far works good tight seal

These generics are just as good quality as OEM at a fraction the cost. No brainer
