UbiBot GS1-AETH Temp/Humidity/Illumination Sensor, Ethernet & WiFi, External Probe, Free App, Data Logger, Alerts

Since this sensor has an Ethernet port, one could assume that this device can be connected to a LAN network, configure it and read the values with a web-interface, but that doesn't work.The configuration is very user-unfriendly and very difficult, the documentation is sometimes unusable and you need different computer programs for the configuration.You have to create an account and download a license key, but even then it didn't work.Although this temperature sensor looks good, it is useless for operation in a local network.

We've been looking for a reliable temperature monitoring system for our outdoor walk-in coolers for ages. This was easy to set up, works over ethernet, and the app does not require a subscription. We bought an additional power over ethernet to USB C converter so that the devise can be charged and communicate through one ethernet line. I would highly recommend for applications where WIFI and Bluetooth communications are not effective!

Very quick and easy setup. Have purchased 6 units and all work perfectly. Cloud data storage is seamless and essential. Web site to report data is simple to navigate and configure. API from website allows data to be used in other contexts for further analysis.

This is an Excellent Environment Monitoring System.It has great alert and notification system.Not very complex to set up and does not come with unpleaseant glitches or bugs.Once calibrated, this can be used in an industrial environment.Great addition to a data center.

Right off the hop it was a nightmare to register and account. Tried on the app and on the PC download. If you want help you have to open a ticket and wait.Very disappointed. This wasn't the cheapest logger out there.

I gave this a 4 because it was difficult to setup but once set up it works well and is a good product. Will email if temperature get to high. I have it email my text message on my phone.
