It is not made for cremation, the Parazoo Pet Casket is biodegradable for the purpose of integrating your pets remains over 5 years time during the biodegradation of the casket itself. You need not cremate your pet with one of these caskets. It is very nice and closes snugly even without the sealing tape. Prayers for your pet 🙏 God's Grace

5 years, knowing that the Earth would play a part in my little loved ones heavenly process gave me peace of mind during the grieving process. God Bless 💚

Q: How to open the casket?

The casket comes with 2 clamps that slide off and on. I have lost 3 of my dogs and have used this product each time - it is amazing

Q: Why can’t it be used if my dog has euthanasia?

I did not read that limitation when I purchased the casket for my pet, although I do not believe in euthanasia, my pet passed naturally at home. Most veterinary offices offer with the euthanasia option to handle their remains. I would keep the pet home with necessary pain management and provide the natural option & Parazoo biodegradable casket. God be with you during this difficult time. 🙏
