Good quality and easy to clean.

Whilst I was initially a bit wary of buying a pressure cooker as I'd heard stories about them exploding, I feel totally at ease using this product. The safety features are great. I've heard some people saying they don't like the steam release going sideways, but I haven't found that an issue and if anything it keeps the steam away from you. It cooks fast, really fast. I can make rice in 6 minutes, or cook a Dall curry using dried lentils in about 8 minutes. Also the pan is great for sautéing before you put on the lid, which means less washing up. As for washing up, it's a breeze to clean and takes seconds I was a little apprehensive about the price, but this really is a quality item. The only negative point is the cost of replacement gaskets. I always prefer to have a spare gasket around, but this will cost you around £25-£35. For us, as a busy family with young kids it's been a worthwhile purchase which we use frequently.

Our old pressure cooker feel apart after 24 years so we bought this one based on ATK review. It's super wonderful. Heavy, diamond cross-hatching on the bottom interior is very useful to prevent sticking. The Gauge on top is well engineered as is the lock. We have cooked briskets, stew and collards and everything turned out terrific. Well worth the cost. We would highly recommend!
