I about sliced 1/2 my finger off with a serrated bread knife cutting a frozen cake layer in 1/2. Had a huge skin flap. Wrapped with the honey gauze and tape. Honey kept would moist and allowed for rapid healing, and kept infection at bay. Added nonstick quality to the gauze so dressing changes were easy.

Natural remedy for healing cuts.
My husband gets cuts easily and this is a natural remedy that we heard of from a nurse friend. I like to get remedies that do not have alot of chemicals.

Used on my guinea pigs, must have.
Works great on minor wounds. I use this for my guinea pigs. Never had an issue with them licking it. I carry this all the time in my guinea pig care bag. Please consult a vet or a knowledgeable guinea pig owner before giving/using anything. I also use this for wildlife.
