This cookbook was on the coffee table of an Air BNB in New Orleans from one of our stays. I fell In love with it and ordered one right away. I ended up ordering a used copy that had a note written in the front cover to a loved one. It was so sweet, and I like that my copy has a small history behind it. Great Cookbook with wonderful recipes and stories to go with them. My favorite kind.

Growing up in Lafayette, LA, recently voted the happiest place in America gave a real appreciation for good eating. The food is the best. I haven't tried anything from this cookbook, but it's great to just read and look at the beautiful illustrations, which make you want to try everything in it. i saw it in Chez Paul's when we ate there for a family reunion and decided to order it when we went back home.Though I keep saying I'm not going to add anymore cookbooks to the many I have, this one was worth the purchase!
