If you are prone to getting Poison Ivy, Poisio Oak, or Sumac reactions....GET THIS STUFF.
Evidently, this stuff has been around for a long time. I was complaining to a fellow worker how I kept getting Poison Ivy. Not so much as my working on equipment that was parked in weeds along dirt roads, as I was in mowing my own property. My place is ate up with it. Just working on my mower to sharpen the blades, blowing it off with an air hose, who knows...I was getting the rash. And I know to avoid the stuff...but still would get it. Anyway, he told me about this "Oral Ivy" that the electric company he worked for many years ago used to hand it out to them for free. They took it as a prevention. Just use it every day and you build up an immunity, he said. Well, I'm here to tell you that this product works wonders. He had also said that after he quit the electric company (and he runs a farm), that he didn't get Poison Ivy, etc. for 2 years. Well, I can't claim that yet...but I can tell you this. I DON'T GET POISON IVY anymore!...and I quit taking it over a year ago. Bought it in December of 2020.Now let me be clear here. I am no doctor. I am not a chemist, nor an allergy specialist. Use of this product is not listed on the label as a preventive. I'm not telling you to do this. I'm telling you what I did and it worked. Poison Ivy, Poison Oak, and Sumac are basically all the same problem, and here, we have all 3. I've had bad allergies to everything that grows, it seems, all of my life. As a kid it was a horrible thing to go through in school. I started taking allergy shots, after testing, and basically I was getting small doses of the things I was allergic to. And they worked. Not instantly, but over time, they worked. And worked quite well. Changed my life in school. This is basically the same thing to my mind. You are taking a little bit of what you have a reaction to, and you build up an immunity. Now, If you actually read all of this, you might wonder why I bought this in December of 2020. Well, if you read up on Poison Ivy, you will understand. It doesn't have "a season". Sure it appears to be dead in the winter but the resin is still there. I was cutting up a fallen tree with a chainsaw and got the worst case of poison ivy I'd ever had. Read up on Poison Ivy. Don't burn it, even if it's dead. It can put you in the hospital, or the morg. My father was "immune" to it, for years. Until he wasn't. He was cutting a patch of it down with a weed-eater and it sent him to the hospital. If you live in town, in the suburbs, or in some states, non of this is relevant. If you live where there is a lot of Poison Ivy, Oak, or Sumac....listen.

A Definate Purchase
I waited with much anticipation for this product to arrive at my door. It was a little late and by that time my Poison Ivy attack was getting pretty bad. I took the product as recommended and it did work. However, I can't seem to eliminate the condition completely, maybe I am getting it again from my garden tools or my clothes. I think I need to buy the scrub from another manufacturer to take care of my clothes and tools. I am still currently taking it but not every two hours. I have been hit again recently and it seems to have stalled any real progress of my infection. I have ordered two more bottle for me and my new wife because she is also susceptible to these wicked plants. So, I believe it works but I am waiting to see if I can get rid of all my infection and see in the future if it gives me any sort of immunity to Poison Ivy or Poison Oak. On that point I am curious if this product works on Poison Oak too, I don't know. For now I am optimistic and a initial believer but time will tell overall. Sometimes I think some other products like Jewelweed soaps and Techu Scrub is a definate help in addition especially since this oil from this plant can remain on almost anything and reinfect you.

Works for immunity, but maybe not for one off treatments
This product really works for building one's immunity (Not sure about using as a treatment for someone who already has a rash but has not been taking this product before exposure). I get poison ivy almost every year (by the way, I use the term poison ivy, but poison oak/ivy/sumac - both vines and ground versions all have the same exact compound in them so they are all covered). This year I got it real bad and decided to look for anything that might help. I got this product, which believe it or not, IS poison ivy in liquid form (very dilluted) that you actually drink (only a few drops) daily. This builds your body's immunity up (or something like that, I'm not sure how it really works). I only bought it because of the great reviews, and it is pretty cheap. I'm the kind of person that isn't satisfied until a product is put to the test. Yes, I intentially exposed myself to poison ivy 3 times after taking the product for almost a month (I wanted to be sure it was in my system) and yes, it works beautifully! Now I'm not going to say I had no reaction whatsoever, that is not how it works. The way it works is your reaction is minimized to such a degree that your poison ivy "outbreak" doesn't even bother you. You will still see a mild "rash" but it does not itch at all, and it crusts over in 24 hours and quickly goes away. I've been exposed to poison ivy 3 times now since I started taking Oral Ivy and I've seen the same thing all three times.I think you can take less than the amount recommended and still have the benefit. I take just 3 drops a day, only M-F. I think you could take 3-4 drops every other day and it would still work. This will make one bottle last a full year.It would be interesting to see if you could make this product yourself, say by blending up a poison ivy leaf in alcohol solution and then filtering it (coffee filter) - perhaps you could, but I have no idea what the correct strength should be, you definitely don't want to overdo it. Oral ivy is 1 part toxin to 3000 parts water. I don't consider this a real homeopathic remedy even though they call it that on the box - I believe it contains enough active compound to actually do something other than placebo effect.-Gordo
